“f@$k1*g losertarians sucked about 6% of the vote from the GOP in the Virginia gubernatorial election.” - D
Why do Republicans think they own the vote of *anyone* without earning it through faithful allegiance to policies and practices that these people favor?
Nah.
I just don't like drug-crazed, baby-killing, packophiliacs pretending to be conservatives.
Maybe, but that is not their platform.
And actually I don't have a question, I read the platform.
I think this is a fair assessment of Libertarians and the idiotic Libertarian Party they belong.
Notice the capitalization of Libertarian. It’s very important.
Why do these "conservative" egotists think it is smart to punish their fellow citizens by helping avowed Communists win elections?
>> Constitutionalism = libertarianism
Don’t waste too much energy making your point on the obtuse.
So you read one political statement from one segment, of a notably diverse group, and are trying to paint us all with the same brush.
Got it.
>> obsessed with attacking small “l” philosophies in general
A stubborn cabal indeed.
>> Maybe, but that is not their platform.
The Libertarian Party platform is deranged.
McCain, Christie, McConnell, Boehner are Republicans. But do they really practice republicanism?
No, there's nothing diverse about it. I read the national platform, which I assume you all got together at a convention and voted on.
If not, you'd better get busy and change it...or stop calling yourself a Libertarian.
No, because they're RINOs!
If they are Republicans In Name Only, why the Hell would they "practice Republicanism"?
Well... A bunch of libertarians got together, but it wasn’t all of us.
And, I don’t call myself a Libertarian. I’m a libertarian.
So, once again... You make a pointless point.
Well said...
And many Libertarians are frauds that demand liberal law to assert their views; the RINOs of libertarianism.
The libertarian opposes statism. The liberal opposes conservatism.
The Founding Fathers were conservative libertarians. If they weren’t, America would be a member of the British Commonwealth.
We here range somewhere between conservative libertarians and statists — primarily conservative with varying views on enforcement.
What an idiotic article. Anyone who goes to such great lengths to alienate potential allies plays with himself too much.
Ooooh...."I'm a libertarian"
Whatever.
Is that like being a catholic or a buddhist?
The title of the thread refers to the capital "L" Libertarian....So you're the one defending the indefensible.
Why is it up to me to have to tell you bastards apart? That's so weak, come up with a different name for crying out loud.
So what's wrong with "Constitutionalist"? Or are they too liberal for you?
I don’t, but it’s fun punching their buttons. You oughta see what names liberals call me on facebook.
I would say it's a matter of reading comprehension. Those things are evil not because of faith in things unseen, but because they are intrinsically evil. They do not stop with the individual; they involve other people; and they metastasize into greater harms.
By reason of the Nazi experience, we know, if we had ever doubted, that obedience to the state is not a mortal sin. Even the Lutherans have confessed of that sin.
I do not get your reference to Nazism. Even a mortal sin is cleansed by the sacrifice on the Cross, as long as the sinner understands that his act was sin and has confessed and repented. The words "mortal sin" do not imply that God will strike you dead in this life. The death of the unrepentant comes at Judgment Day.
Because one denotes a philosophy, the other a political party.
Look, if you don’t even have that modest a grasp on the English language then maybe you shouldn’t be casting aspersions at others...
If you are going to paint everyone adhereing to a political Philosophy by thier Party... How’s that Lindsey Graham and John McCain worship working out for you? Big fan of Chris Cristy are you... Autographed photo of you and Bob Dole on your wall?
No?
Then rethink your line of argumentation.
