And PS:
If you like your plan, you can keep it.
It is not a hick town mall, Westfield is upper class in densely populated Northern New Jersey, and it does not appear to be a mass shooting.
speaking of overreaction...LOL
If Paramus, likewise not a hick town.
Yep, I’m afraid I have to agree.
Paramus is NOT a ‘hick town’ as Cramp Guy said.
Quite the opposite.
But who am I to soothe his cramps with the hot water bottle of truth?

The most benign explanation is they give the wackos too much attention, and others copycat it - like teen suicides. Although they (media and politicians) know exactly what they are doing, so it really can’t be benign. They WANT these shootings to happen, so they glamorize them, at the very least.
Unless it’s an assault knife, or an assault iPad, etc.
it’s gotten completely unbelievable. The MSM has the same
spin on every story.
its gotten completely unbelievable
Quite true.
ABC reporting on LAX shooting, graphic cartoon showed shooter with M4 type weapon with 40mm grenade launcher mounted underneath.
Pure hyperbole.
The name of Jesus is sacred, not an exclamatory.
Isn’t the mall closed after 7?
60 minutes...
Hehehe, when seconds count, the DHS enhanced ammo, and MRAP’d SWAT teams are only an hour away...
One person with a concealed handgun might very well be in a position to stop continued violence like this in the meantime...
But hey, what do I know, right???

Suspected Garden State Plaza Mall Gunman Found Dead: Prosecutor
Police found the body of 20-year-old Richard Shoop in a long-term storage area behind a construction site at the Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J., about 3:20 a.m., Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said. The discovery came just hours after Shoop, wearing all black and a motorcycle helmet, fired six rounds from a Sig Sauer rifle modified to look like an AK-47 in the first floor of the mall, New Jersey’s largest, about 10 minutes before it closed Monday night.
No one was injured in the gunfire. Molinelli said it didn’t appear that Shoop, who fired bullets that hit an elevator, escalator and several store facades, ever intended to hurt anyone in the mall.
“I don’t know as I stand here whether his motive was to injure anyone,” Molinelli said. “I do not believe that Mr. Shop thought he was going to come out of here alive.
Looks like they raided his parents’ house:
