Reports: Shots fired at Garden State Plaza mall By LUKE FUNK, Senior Web Producer - bio
NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) - There were unconfirmed reports of shots being fired at the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, N.J. on Monday night. It reportedly happened about 9:30 p.m.
Police had not confirmed any information but there were several reports on Twitter about a gunman opening fire inside the mall.
Law enforcement scanner traffic reported a male wearing body armor and a rifle in the mall. Witnesses report a large police presence at the mall.
The Hackensack tactical team was being deployed to the mall, according to police scanner traffic.

Yes, it is definitely a new world around here. I’ve been here since registering was optional and anyone could post. I used to post articles almost every morning from the local papers when many were not even on line. I mostly gave up posting stories when all the copyright brouhaha started up.

The FBI showed up a few minutes ago, long caravan of black vehicles. Something going on for sure, perhaps practice for something more sinister.

State Police said the gunman, reportedly a tall person dressed in all black and carrying a shotgun, was shooting at surveillance cameras.

Well now I see two more dupe threads (I was first), one temporarily in Breaking. I would make more sense if they just left breaking events there for some short time before removing them. Some will threads will die and one will survive, but overall it will only cause more confusion and whatever the policy is doesn’t make following a story easier.
CNN just reported that the guy was shooting at security cameras.
