U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday said the Justice Department has not decided whether to file federal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman in the 2012 killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman, a volunteer neighborhood watchman who shot and killed Martin in an incident that captured national interest, was acquitted of murder charges in July. But the Justice Department could still pursue a federal civil rights case.
Holder said the agency’s investigation is under way.
“I'm not sure exactly how much longer that will take, but we will get to a point where we are able to make a determination,” he told reporters at an unrelated news conference at the agency’s headquarters.
Holder, during an April speech to Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, pledged to “take appropriate action” if the agency finds evidence of a potential federal civil rights crime in the Zimmerman case.
However, he has since cautioned that the Justice Department faces a “very high barrier” in pursuing federal criminal charges in such cases.
On Monday, he noted that the courts had already weighed in Zimmerman’s case.
"The case of George Zimmerman — and what happens there — I think a substantial part was resolved in the case that was tried," Holder said.

And you won’t hear a peep from Holder’s office either because Jarrett is trying to keep the “payback” going;
the goal here is to keep harassing and “punishing” GZ who was acquitted.
He could almost certainly get a Peruvian passport since that is his mother’s homeland.
He’ll be charged in 24 business hours.

He spoke at a gun rights forum to a very receptive audience.
The Feds have squat against Zimmerman.

The way to kill this in the bud right now is for a Republican congressman to prepare articles of impeachment against Holder. The only cabinet officer to have ever been impeached was Grant’s Secretary of War William W. Belknap.
They should be blunt about it. Holder’s behavior as Attorney General has been reprehensible, and he has already been found in contempt of congress. If he abuses his authority once more, the House of Representatives will impeach him with a simple majority vote.
They know that the senate under Harry Reid will not hear of it, but after the mid-term elections, the senate may very well be controlled by the Republicans. And if they get a strong majority, they will only have to convince a limited number of Democrats to remove Holder from office, in shame.
Bingo. Prodding the people, on King’s orders. I guess the NSA hasn’t gone through ALL of Zimmerman’s lifetime’s Emails and phone calls yet.

Irregardless its still “payback” for the same crime just using subterfuge. It’s really not even for “payback”; its just being used a political tool to get the black voters to mount up and get in line to vote against anything resembling a white candidate or anything representing the old guard in order to put the socialist’s / progressives’ candidates in offices. Most of the Obama supporters aren’t bright enough to understand how they’re being used as tools on this particular case though.

It is payback, but not all blacks are unaware of how they are being used. Many of them do have a sense that they are being used.
However, psychology has shown that people will tolerate loss better, if they are aware that others have lost more than they. This even applies, if the person loses in socialism even though they could have gained more through freedom.
Reid is The linchpin of much of Obama’s subversive activities and plans. If you want to get any inroads to filing artcles of impeachment on any of his administration you are going to have to remove him. I’ve heard there’s quite a bit of history out there on his shady activities but have never taken a look to see if there’s any basis to them.

You need a passport to cross the border?
I tend to agree because Trayvon’s reputation would be so completely destroyed in the trial that it wouldn’t be worth it. The myth of the racist George Zimmerman can live on in the minds of haters indefinitely, so there’s no need to have a trial.
You may be able to leave without a passport, but you may not be able to enter another country without one.
Since Zimmerman was born an American, there’s no guarantee that he could stay in Peru. I don’t know the laws, but Peru is Peru and not America.
Holder is just tending to the fences of the plantation. Nothing more.
