Sarah Palin 2016: Former Alaska Governor Laying Groundwork For Possible Presidential Run

Sarah Palin may be once again dreaming of the White House and a run for the presidency in 2016.

After a long absence from the political arena, Palin appears to be strategically increasing her appearances and speeches while also taking solid aim at President Obama. This has led many political experts to conclude that she is aiming to enter the 2016 presidential race, or at least is trying to test the waters for a potential run.

The rumors kicked up a bit this week when a spokesman for the Rev. Billy Graham announced that Sarah Palin will be a guest for the reverend’s 95th birthday. Graham still carries great political sway, so much in fact that Mitt Romney carved out time to meet with Graham in the final days of the 2012 presidential race in the hopes of earning a public endorsement and assuring conservative voters.

Graham’s birthday celebration is also drawing other big names in the conservative world, including real estate mogul Donald Trump.

Sarah Palin has also taken her political tour to Iowa, one of the most important states for Republican hopefuls. On November 9 Palin is slated to speak at the annual banquet for the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, an important conservative and evangelical group.

After spending a long stretch away from the spotlight, Palin is also ramping up her political attacks on President Obama in what could be the groundwork for her 2016 platform.

In a Facebook post entitled “Obama’s Debt Default is on His Shoulders While We Shoulder His Impeachable Offenses,” she placed the blame for the debt limit fight solely on Obama’s shoulders.

“Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense,” Palin wrote.

If Sarah Palin is planning a 2016 presidential run, she will have even more ammunition to boost her resume in the coming weeks. On November 12, three days after her planned speech in Iowa, Palin will be released a book taking on the conservative-friendly topic of the War on Christmas.

Pain promises that in the book — titled Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas — she will “tell you how to fight back against those politically correct Scrooges who seem to hate not just a beautiful holiday, but an entire faith.”

Sarah Palin is still a long way from an official 2016 presidential run, however, and likely wouldn’t declare any intention to run for several months.

I hope she and Cruz don't split the Conservative vote...

I think conservatives should recognize this conservative weakness and a GOP-e strongpoint. As much as I hate GOP-e, they are able to promote less alternatives to focus on than conservatives do. Or, alternatively, they are able to promote at the same time a GOP-e candidate while somehow encouraging other GOP-e-backed candidates to run as RINO "conservatives".

This article doesn’t even remotely claim that Sarah Palin said she’s considering running for President. The author of the piece comes to that conclusion BECAUSE she has the testicular fortitude to actually call out Obama on his lies.

Oh my God, can this place EVER stop the circular firing squad?

You really think the Romney GOP would’ve got behind her so she could defeat Barack Obama? Romney, with all his money and connections couldn’t pull that one off.””””

If she’s as good as so many freezers say she is she should win without their help.

She never declared her intention to run, but many “filled-in the blanks” hoping she would.

True and unfortunately history appears to be repeating itself as here it is three years before the next election and we are already getting our hopes up. I can't take another two years of this. If Palin is not going to be a candidate in 2016 either, she should do her supporters a favor and tell us now rather than two years from now so we can find another candidate to rally around.

Remember that Palin didn't tell us until October 2011 that she wasn't running. By then, most conservative alternatives were already knocked out of the race, allowing Mitt Romney to easily capture the nomination.

for you in PC words then and not to give you a good grief.

There are enough laws out there without making homosexuals more of a protected class than they are already. What they do in their bedroom should stay in their bedroom but the problem is that it doesn’t.

There is no reason other than mental illness for homosexual men to act like they’re drama queen women and for homosexual women to act like a tough guy.

Hopefully that has not given you a good grief and that you might not have realized just how sick they are and what they do.

agree , it was a cheap shot by the late show and sadly we have millions still today thinking she did say that but cannot understand what she really said and how it was fact.

Liberals are shallow narrow minded people, they seek great enjoyment in attacking someone . I suppose they enjoy the Alinsky tactics until it is done to them and they play victim.

Agree.
Our primaries should be not starting in liberal states nor should they allow non republicans to vote like liberals, non party and liberaltarians.

I’d vote for her but this could be her let me stay relevant by letting people think I’m going to run nonsense she pulled last time around.

I had already answered that question. It was a joke and your response indicates you have no sense of humor.

Not only that but to take that kind of offense to the simple term “good grief” is only worth another good grief.

No, Sarah is a great conservative attacker with figurative cahones. She is a truly great conservative voice.

She has no real political stature, no current record of accomplishments.

Senator Sarah however, would make a fantastic candidate

More likely she is thinking of running for the Senate. A much more attainable goal and she would be very effective there.
