NOW WE KNOW… Obamacare Architect Ezekiel Emanuel: “The Individual Market Is Going Away” (Video)

Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, a former adviser to the Obama White House, admitted today that, if Democrats have their way, the individual insurance market is going away.

“Insurance companies don’t want, insurance companies don’t want the individual market as it’s constructed. They see the future. That individual market is going away. They don’t want to invest in it.”

As with the advent of HMOs it's about health management and not individual health care. With Obamacare, the emphasis will be on Public Health, not individual differences. Individuals won't even be told of more expensive options that aren't covered. This will destroy innovation in medical care.

I've stated this before....get books about nutrition, symptoms and home cures, healthy lifestyle and first aid. Medical treatment as we know it is over.

A colleague and good friend of mine (a physician) did his internal medical residency with Ezekiel Emanuel at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Dr. Emanuel won an award voted on by his co-residents for the laziest resident. He regularly would have his team round on inpatients while he discussed them from outside the hospital ON THE PHONE. If you’re a physician you will understand clearly that this is true outlier behavior that speaks to this guy’s sociopathy.

the democrat strategist that was on Fox News this morning with Eric Shawn and his blond cohort, sorry I don't know her name, used as a point of support for obozocare was to stop free loaders in need of medical help from abusing the system and causing the rest of us to have to pay for their visits to the hospital. He lamented that obozocare would fix that. If that is even part of why obozocare was shoved down our throats, then why is the Adolf obozo and the entire socialist cabal encouraging illegals to come to American and get free government support which includes free medical care? Reading between the lines indicates the real reason of obozocare and it has absolutely nothing to do with providing health care thus the ruling elites self imposed exemption from the law. This internal enemy in DC grows stronger every day that it is allowed to exist.

Ezekiel Emanuel has already authored papers about rationing health care maintaining the very young and the elderly should be denied care because they are not “worth” the cost the of their care. 1. Emanuel kept referring to required standard provisions of plans as being like "seat belts and air bags for your car." This should have been retired in the previous non-operative analogy of car insurance. You don't have to buy a car, you don't have to drive. Weakest argument anyone could come up with, but the anti-Obama care "health analyst" never refuted the point.

2. "The insurance companies don't want to be in the individual market." They don't want to be in the exchanges either. Even less. Big insurance companies have withdrawn from exchanges all over the country, leaving few options in a lot of places.

3. "We expect sign ups for the private market to be late... it's true we need 5 to 7 million signups in the private market... like the policy in CA for a 30 year old male for $50/ month ." (shrugs his shoulders) He's right . If they can solve all Obamacare's problems for $50/month x 12 months x 7 million , i.e. < $ 7 billion , then we might as well stop fighting about it. If not, then he's a bigger liar than Obama, which you wouldn't think is possible.
