WAAAAYYY back in the ‘90’s, I took the mainstream rinos to task in Montgomery county, PA.
At that time, pubbies had a 3 to 1 advantage. (An aside, these bung rinos are now the MINORITY in a district they once Owned.)
I did NOT target the top dudes, I did NOT target the midlevel dudes.
I TARGETED THE POLYESTER PEOPLE ON THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE FOOD CHAIN.
One day, the committee woke up to find that EACH OF THEIR LOWEST LEVEL COMMITTEEMEN, COMMITTEEWOMEN had an electoral CHALLENGE. (Which most of them LOST, BTW.)
Just damn, you never saw fur fly so fast and furious. I was ultimately not successful for many reasons. Being outnumbered by about 1,000 to one was a good reason. However.
The road map I laid out has been used very successfully on a lesser scale.
Only problem I have with the Tea Party is that they DID NOT do due diligence. They skipped the homework and went straight to campaign mode.

Outstanding advice, Conrado. The Tea Party needs to organize, pick leadership and embrace a strategy. This lone wolf stuff we hear on this site and others is crap.
