What we’re up against is the crony capitalists behind the GOPe. They’re the recipients of billions and billions of dollars. They’re not going to walk away from all that loot without a fight. We’re up against a lot of vested interests at the state and local level as well. We need wise, state by state strategies that will involve compromise and coopting these “allies” into our camp for their money and clout.
We’re not going to right the ship in a single election cycle, but we can entrench the right guys in the right places. Eventually, we’ll have to learn how to move legislation with the help of Dems and RINOs.

SEATTLE — Now that the mole who helped bring down the leadership of the Alaska Peacemaker Militia has talked publicly, the big question on some minds in Alaska is: Why was federal FBI informant William Fulton involved in political campaigns?
The controversy has erupted over the past few days, as it emerged that Fulton, an Anchorage military surplus store owner who helped gather evidence against militia leader Schaeffer Cox, had helped manage the unsuccessful campaign of right-wing former radio host Eddie Burke for lieutenant governor in 2010. He also provided a controversial security detail for U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller that year — all while penetrating Alaska’s far-right fringes as part of the Cox investigation.
The point being, Joe won the Primary against Lisa, who was then finessed into capturing the AK RAT vote after they re-ran her as Third-party. With *extremely* fraudulent ballot-casting help for them, you didn’t even have to know her name, just a few letters of it, which the poll workers then transcribed into a vote for her.
Yeah, Joe Miller would have been a great addition to the republican party.

Would it be asking too much of the tea party/ conservatives to nominate someone with good charcter, an impeccable resume, and good public appearance skills ? (Hint: That would be Ted Cruz, from Princeton (undergrad) and Harvard Law.)

You post as if you don't realize that Miller graduated from West Point(undergrad) and Yale Law and was awarded the Bronze Star for his honorable service during the Persian Gulf War where he served as a platoon leader in combat.
