War: NRSC blacklists ad firm because it helps Senate Conservatives Fund target Republicans
Hot Air ^ | NOVEMBER 1, 2013 | ALLAHPUNDIT

(Excerpt)

In a warning shot to outside conservative groups, the National Republican Senatorial Committee this week informed a prominent Republican advertising firm that it would not receive any contracts with the campaign committee because of its work with a group that targets incumbent Senate Republicans.

Even more striking, a senior official at the committee called individual Republican Senate campaigns and other party organizations this week and urged them not to hire the firm, Jamestown Associates, in an effort to punish them for working for the Senate Conservatives Fund, a group founded by Jim DeMint, then a South Carolina senator, that is trying to unseat Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader, and some other incumbents up for re-election next year whom it finds insufficiently conservative…

The GOP elites aren’t trying to win elections, they’re trying to keep conservatives from winning elections.

You weren’t around for the Lisa Murkowski back-stab and anal rape we got in the AK senate race with Joe Miller, they showed their true colors and nobody has trusted them since.

“I tell them that I donate directly to my own conservative choices because I don’t trust the GOP with my money any more than I trust the democrats.”

Unfortunately their corporate crony friends contribute freely.

The GOP elites aren’t trying to win elections, they’re trying to keep conservatives from winning elections.

Yup.

I would put it this way.

The GOP elites aren't trying to change the country for the better. Instead they are trying to maintain their comfortable positions as the token "opposition" to the Democrats.

That pretty much sums it up.

The Republicans controlling the party do not care about winning. They care about having enough elected officials to keep their status as the minority party, and all of the financial reward and status it gives them. They'd rather lose to the dems than cede power in the party to conservatives. They think if they fight back hard, they'll still have our votes in elections.

I'm past that. I'd rather have a Democrat whose honest about their flakey ideas in power than these RINOs backstabbing us from within. The globalist pro-corporate power mongers have never been a majority. They assume we'll vote for them as the "lesser of two evils".

The thing is, there's nothing "lesser" about their evil. Look at Obamacare and the horrible moves Obama made in his poorly managed shut down schemes. Ted Cruz had Obama beat. Now, it's obvious to all that the RINOs and their insurance company and other paymasters want Obamacare; they've found a way to profit from it and get deals to support it.

They're still fighting us, for heaven's sake. How many people would come over to constitutional conservative values if those who hold them weren't being backstabbed from within? It's the RINOs, and them alone, costing us elections.

porkers like Lisa Murkowski will do whatever it takes to stay in DC which is where all their money and future earnings will be. If she retires 10 years from now she will become a lobbyist. No way is she headed back to Alaska

Let's think about this. We've got Obiecare unless we get the Senate. But even then there's little chance to defeat an override from BO. 55-45 R's won't do the trick.

So, wait 'til '16, or put the Pres. and dems in survival mode with public and voter discontent so overwhelming they agree to pull it down....or make 2010 look like a warm up.

Would a Republican Senate of a 52 or 53 seat majority to 47 or 48, comprised of many of these same RINOs , be any better than one with fewer Republican senators, but with more bull dogs aka Ted Cruz.

I'll go with the bulldogs., no matter the number. Although, speaking of McConnell, I'm generally pleased with him. Boehner is more of a problem, imho.

“They really have a death wish. Who do they expect to vote for THEIR candidates without OUR support? “

They really don’t care. They can get lucrative lobbyist jobs or go back to their law firms if they lose elections.

The scorched earth policy they follow should tell you all you need to know about the GOPe. They are left leaning corporatists shilling for amnesty and anything else that will help their benefactors.

The rest is just window dressing at election time such as bogus “flag burning” legislation or any red meat to fire up the base.

Notice that there is NEVER a right time to fight for anything against the left in DC.

The middle class need not apply.
