I’m not sure why people are under the impression that our embassies, consulates, and military bases are U.S. soil. They aren’t according to the State Dept.’s FAM.

Being born abroad to U.S. citizens makes one a statutory citizen at birth but not a 14A citizen at birth on U.S. soil.

If he truly is going to run for president then Cruz’s biggest worry isn’t his Democrat party opposition. It’s his Republican party opposition.
