Skip to comments.Ken Cuccinelli GOTV Rally Congressman Ron Paul

There’s also one in Leesburg tomorrow. I’m attending that one.
do you have details on that?
That’s quite a line-up! I’m interested to see if Ron Paul is able to bring his young voters to support Cuccinelli.
Waiting now for FReepers to abandon Mark Levin for having the gall to appear in the same room as Marco Rubio lol!
That racist wacko Paul will hurt Cuccinelli.
I don’t think so and the wacko’s in Congress and the Presidency are already hurting this country far more than anyone with the views of Ron Paul would. If the choice is between Obama campaigning for Obama or Ron Paul for Cuccinelli Ron Paul comes up on top everytime. Obama’s negatives are at record high in Virginia and he’s coming to ‘help’ McAuliffe.
He got Ron Paul for election eve?
Now THAT was a coup. Ron Paul is very popular in Virginny. Also cuts the legs out from under Robert Sarvis.
“That racist wacko Paul will hurt Cuccinelli.”
Wrong. To the contrary, it’s one of the smartest moves he could have made.
Marco was used by the establishment. I’m glad he is backing off on the comprehensive immigration reform crap. Marco made a mistake on this one issue. I can’t hold it against him forever nor should we.
Cuccinelli should request and accept campaigning help from several popular Tea Party politicians but reject that Ron Paul proven loony toon.
Ron Paul is a proven kook.
Yes he does and that is the truth. Ron got 40% of the primary vote against Romney in VA. Ron Paul is probably more popular in Virginia than Obama who is currently at record lows here. Its a head to head Ron Paul versus Obama.
“Ron Paul is a proven kook.”
And you’re obviously not from Virginia. Ron Paul is admired if not loved by a good percentage of the voters here. KC just bought himself 5% on Tuesday.
People from Virginia cannot see the obvious that Paul is a kook?
Only thing about the crazy uncle campaigning for him is that he’s a loose cannon and who knows what he’ll come up with?
Can you give us more of an update about how, in your view, things are shaping up for our guy, maelstrom? In particular, what are people saying about Ears personal appearance? Talk about the kiss of death. Do you think the Regime will do polling and cancel his visit if it looks bad for Terry?
Virginia Freepers, please call ten friends this weekend. The crooked Dem machine will be registering every low information welfare recipient/crackhead potential voters in the big Va. cities and dragging them to the polls on Tuesday with promises of phones, drug money and other free stuff..maybe big screen plasmas!.
When I visited my friend in Annandale a month ago, two neighbors directly across from each other on a quiet cul-du-sac had opposing signs for McAwful and Cooch...must make for a fun time at the fall block party.
I hope you are correct, RKBA, that Paul will be a boost.
And thanks for mentioning Cruella Jarrett in your tagline. Zero is evil and she wrote his playbook.
“People from Virginia cannot see the obvious that Paul is a kook?”
People in Virginia simply don’t share your opinion. He is very popular here.
I think KC has run a crappy campaign. I’ve said that for some time. But for whatever reason it looks like for the last couple of weeks he has decided he actually wants to win this thing. He could not have picked a better person to join him on election eve.
Two positive developments I’ve seen on the ground going door to door talking to people.
1. Obamacare’s failure is starting to resonate.
2. The news that Obama is coming to campaign for McAuliffe is driving home for voters exactly who McAuliffe is. One lady told me when she saw that she made up her mind to vote for Cuccinelli.
3. We are seeing a huge uptick in donations. We collected 132k in just one day in small donations the day before yesterday.
4. We are seeing a surge in volunteers.
5. The only McAuliffe voters I’ve talked to don’t like him which is reflected in the polls in that his voters are much more likely to say they are voting against Cuccinelli than for McAuliffe.
6. McAuliffe has a history of being unable to turn out the black vote. It didn’t work in 2009 not matter how much he spent and it is unlikely to work in this election.
The key to winning this is turnout of the GOP base big and if we do we win because this election being so highly negative is going to be a very low turnout election.
Pardon me, but is Paul not the candidate who attracted a large youth following in 2012?
Yes he did.
Unlike a Sith lord, your hate does not make you strong. It makes you look silly.
Except for Libertarians and Libertarians are what they are trying to get on the Ken bandwagon.
“I hope you are correct, RKBA, that Paul will be a boost.”
Well, it got him one more vote. Mine. Although I’m not particularly pro- Ron Paul, this addresses my primary concern with KC: that he’s gone squish.
Ron Paul is a lot of things, but he isn’t a squish. And he isn’t going to lend the family name to someone who he thinks isn’t sincere.
Well played Mr. Cuccinelli, well played.
Hate? Just because I have studied what Paul himself has said and written over the years and determined he is a kook, you call it hate? I feel sorry for Paul cultists like you.
New Emerson College poll has Cuccinelli closing to within 2 points. 42 McAuliffe, 40 Cuccinelli, 13 Sarvis
D 35.9/R 32.5/I 31.6
I have no problem with libertarians supporting him. I have a problem with the candidate embracing a kook.
That is GREAT news! Cucc is now within the margin of error in two of the last three polls. Momentum is moving in his direction with four days to go. I'll be delivering more flyers in the area this weekend.
Please, God.. let this be.
Let go of all thag hate. It’s going to shave years off of your life.
Did you find the link?
This one should work:
If young people are the ones most negatively impacted by the demands of the Obama/McAuliffe/Clinton Obamacare Act, then isn't Ron Paul likely to tap into their brains the message that young people are being asked to pay for everyone's health care, and that this factual consequence doesn't meet Obama's own "fairness" mantra?
Somebody better begin to latch onto to that core idea of this monstrocity called the ACA!
Beginning with the current generation of youth, and carrying on as long as this law is imposed, the potential for economic achievement and success will be limited for the working generations.
You let go of being a racist and 9/11 truther.
Just as soon as you let go of being a homosexual pedobear.
I'm a Virginian and of course I think Ron Paul is a kook. That said, we have a queer-loving Libertarian candidate named Sarvis who is a stalking horse for McAuliffe. Someone is funding late-hour commercials for the guy, likely the DNC or Soros. Ron Paul and Rand Paul are telling Libertarians to throw their vote to Cuccinelli. I imagine their loyalty would be stronger to those two than to the unknown Sarvis.
Typical Ron Paul cult nut.
A lot of people like Ron Paul in Virginia.
Okay you don’t like Ron Paul. But making the same mindless non-specific comment over and over does not make you persuasive.
If it weren't for the Libertarian candidate, polling at 10+ points, the election would be a cakewalk for Cooch. This is a good move.
Especially Millenials who are paying attention. Cuccinelli needs them to show up and vote once Ron Paul has gotten their attention.
It is not mindless. It is factual.
One’s opinion might work well for oneself, but thankfully no one can decide what we all should see as good and bad, patriot or kook.
I am definitely NOT a ronpaul supporter except at granting others a right to decide for themselves. Some things RP came up with were off the wall, some were dead-on the target.
The point in VA is that RP has a significant Libertarian following and if he can sway Libertarians to vote for KC instead of the Libertarian candidate (who sure looks 100 times worse that RP and who would otherwise take votes from KC), then RP does good. The end justifies the means, is not always bad.
I don’t think it’s ever going to sink in for that one.
I think you may be right, but it worth the try. All the kooks ain’t RP fans.....
Can you update us and post some pix tomorrow, Hokie?
Paul and Cuccinelli are caring, community orientated men.
How is auditing the Fed kooky?
How is controlling printing fiat dollars kooky?
How is reducing 800 military bases on foreign soil on borrowed money from China kooky?
But yes, Ron Paul does indeed have a few kooky ideas including unrestricted use of hashish. But then I consider Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment.
Not this crap again entropy12. I thought that nutcase was retired and gone. He’s like the movie monster that pops up from the dead.
- Decades of Paul publishing racist and nutty newsletters is kooky.
- Paul blaming the United States for 9/11 is kooky.
- Paul going on Alex Jones’ kook fringe show is kooky
- Encouraging support from conspiracy wackos and white supremacists groups is kooky.
- Pushing the elimination of all drug laws is kooky.
- Claiming President Bush had “glee” after the 9/11 attacks is kooky.
- Paul is a truther and North American union conspiracy nut and that’s kooky.
- Paul is an isolationist and that’s kooky.
- Paul said that he would close ALL US foreign military bases and that is nuts and kooky.
