That kind of trick usually works great. Not this time however. Americans don’t have to be paying attentiuon to the news to be outraged by obama’s fraud this time. Fuel should not have been in or near rockets unless they were being readied for launch. Also not good idea to store all missles close to each other so maybe they just arrived, and the fuel was also offlaoded from the same ship. Agin not good logistics.

Depends upon what their definition of a base is. It could have been just an air defense site with several launchers, a few radar units, and some trucks. In that case a 1,000 lb. Tomahawk warhead or with the submunitions variant would definitely do the job.

Surface to air missiles are solid fuel rocket motors. They are cast during production. Just like the SRB's on the space shuttle. The biggie is the 70 kilo warhead. A few hundred 70 kilo warheads will make a most satisfactory display. Add tons of burning/exploding rocket motors and toss them around with explosions and it's bye bye air base.
