I know I lived in Asia too long when I just found out there was the World Series. Thanks for the news tip. However, I’m a Yankees’ fan, so I’m glad I didn’t watch the World Series this year.
after what happened at the Boston Marathon earlier this year , I glad they got this win .
Didn’t watch one minute of it. Didn’t really like either team, but wanted Cardinals to win with all those young pitchers. Cardinals blew their chances by blowing games in St. Louis, losing three straight to a team that was very beatable. Didn’t Sox set a record for most strikeouts for a team winning the series? I know Tiger pitchers dominated them, only to lose the series. I am happy that Mr. know-it-all Colin Blowhard on ESTN will shut now about how “great the Cardinals” are. But he gets on the bandwagon of any team that’s winning, so he’ll turn into a Sox fan now.
“However, Im a Yankees fan, so Im glad I didnt watch the World Series this year.”
I grew up a Yankees fan (back in the days of Ron Guidry, Thurman Munson, etc.); as I grew older I lost interest. Now when I see a game I’m shocked at how many foreigners are in the lineups; you’d think they were playing San Juan. Most of the older Yankee fans I worked with have retired, and they’ve been replaced with younger, darker workers who are soccer fans (which I enjoy as well). I don’t believe baseball is anywhere near as popular as it was even 25 years ago...
As a Boston fan, let me say, “you are welcome. We seek to oblige you whenever we can.”
A Yankees fan?! Oh. I’m sorry.
Don't support the Texas Rangers, eh? Figgers....
