“I’d be especially interested in knowing if Leno treats Sen. Cruz with respect or tries to do to him what Tina Fey does to Sarah Palin.”

Leno has been bashing Obama mercilessly, since he no longer has to give a damn about his contract renewal. Amazing how that works, isn’t it?

Just spent ten minutes looking for it. It’s gone from everything.

Goebbels.

Here’s the closest:

Watch Sarah Palin and Mark Wahlberg on ‘Saturday Night Live’

I thought it was Alec Baldwin, too.

Sigh, the refute was that it was not Mark Wahlberg, but Alec Baldwin.

I don’t care if Baldwin was in it. I don’t.

The exchange was between Palin, Michaels and Wahlberg.

Sigh, sigh sigh!!!

From the article I saw that the Tonight Show is on NBC. Can someone please inform me as to the time EST it airs? I never watch network TV unless someone mentions that a good conservative is going to be on. I always have to ask which network and time, and then ask hubby what channel number it is. I’ve made a note on my calendar.

Leadership is now defined as chattering on The Tonight Show? Hmmmm. Hard for me not to see this as a bit of capitulation to the lefty media “masters.”

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Parse and spin this anyway you like. It wasn't the appearance on Leno that is leadership, but the fearlessness to go where there is a good chance of personal attacks and "gotcha" type journalism, all the while unapologetically defending and communicating conservative ideals and policies.

But you spin it however you like.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, for now.

How big of you.

I haven’t watched Leno, or any of the late night shows, in a long time. I’ll help his ratings tonight. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm not "spinning" a thing. Not sure what your hostility is about. I have said for years now -- long before Cruz -- that the de rigueur appearance of politicians on talk shows was a bad idea, a further degeneration of serious politics. My opinion on this is not because of Cruz.

And before you lecture me on doubt, let me remind you, FRiend, that plenty of folks right here on this forum were ready to crown Chris Christie (yes, Obama-Huggy Christie) the next president, based on a single slapdown he gave to the educrats in NJ. Marco Rubio was once the darling, too, prior to his amnesty leanings. I like Cruz, a lot, and he appears to be the real deal. But good grief, can we not even disagree on a stupid talk show appearance without accusations of "disloyalty"?

Not anyone who had seriously look into his background.

Those are your words and ideas, not mine.

He’s going to have to debate liberals in his presidential campaign. May as well get some real world practice.

It’s exposure. Sorry, but we have to fight fire with fire.

Those people in the viewing Audience would never listen to Cruz as they only know how he is presented in the Media.

They would not seek him out, so we need to expose our viewpoints without a filter, or an editor getting between the truth of what is said and the “revised” end product.

Excuse me, we have to reach low-information drones. As long as Cruz doesn’t pretend to be someone other than who he is, what is the problem? Bob
