Despite President Obamas assurances to the contrary, millions of Americans are discovering that they will not be able to keep their current health insurance when the Affordable Care Act takes full effect next year.
Reports Tuesday from CBS and NBC News document this development. According to CBS, US insurance firms have sent health policy cancellation notices to more than 2 million people, with 800,000 in New Jersey alone.
NBC estimates that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million Americans .. can expect a cancellation letter, ..
Mr. Obama has long insisted .. Americans who like their current health plan can keep it. Thats turning out to not be exactly true ..
But the White House is pushing back against the notion that Obama was misleading, ..
What the president said and what everybody said all along is that there are going to be changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act to create minimum standards of coverage, said .. Jay Carney.
So whats going on here? ..
First, whats at issue here are health insurance policies that people buy themselves on the open market, because their employers do not offer insurance, they work for themselves, .. dont work and dont qualify for Medicare or Medicaid. ..
Second, Obamacare regulations raise the bar for such plans. The ACA requires that they provide fuller and more complete coverage than they did before. ..
Third, there is a provision in the ACA that grandfathers in plans in existence at time of the laws passage in 2010. But theres a catch: They had to remain unchanged to qualify for this status. ..
So thats the context. Whats happening now is that people with un-grandfathered individual plans that dont meet new rules are getting notices that their current coverage is being canceled. ..

This is what Christian Scientists are reading this week?
What are you reading?
No, he just lied.
Everything zer0 s doing is by design. Destruction of America is moving along swimmingly. Asshats who wanted Hope and Change are going to get it big time and drag the rest of us kicking and screaming and perhaps fighting and defending. I’m ready
Exactly. Misleading someone is what Clinton did with his time-sensitive definition of “is”.
Lying is what happened when Obama stated something uncategorically that was simply false.
Obama is a liar.
He didn’t “MISLEAD”. Nor did he “MISSPEAK”. He read what was on the teleprompter. He’s so stupid he didn’t know if he was lying or not. And didn’t care.
The vermin Democrats wished they had listened to Ted Cruz. Too late.
Right now the news is about the millions that are losing their healthcare. The next shoe to drop will be how many millions were exempted from losing their healthcare because they are a protected class that got 0zer0 waivers. That’s when you will see people lost their healthcare in plans that were not as generous as the ones 0zer0 gave waivers to. That will make anger against 0zer0care go off the charts. It will make the anger against the Congressional Waivers look like a picnic.
Has this Wicked one been revealed yet, or are people still clinging to their hope and change idol?
After all, the lies have been plainly discernable from the get-go, because the only way to believe them was to utterly suspend reality. A strong delusion indeed.
How much longer?
“Did president mislead?”
Actually, for Yahoo, this is an absolutely bombastic statement.

LOL!!
Those popular interpretations are part of the problem.
I suppose it would be like people warning that a firebug is coming to town to torch the city. They get so fixated on watching out for a firebug that they fail to notice all the flames pouring out of their attics. :(
I am so enjoying laughing, I mean really laughing and pointing when I see someone in a parking lot with an obama sticker on their car. They know why and I find it funnier that they look straight down at the ground whilst I do so.
I want these people to suffer financially. Many tried to warn them but their arrogance led to this. Wallet pain goes to the brain and I will ridicule them ALL just to remind them.
