Soros Adviser, Obama Donors, Amnesty Activists Form Group to Target House GOP Members
Big Government ^ | 10/28/2013 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 10/28/2013 2:35:06 PM PDT by markomalley

On Friday, a top political adviser to left-wing billionaire George Soros met with leftist organizations to form a new group called the Latino Victory Project, the Washington Post's Matea Gold reports. The group is connected to Hollywood actress Eva Longoria, a longtime supporter of President Barack Obama's political campaigns.

Gold notes that the Soros adviser and a network of about 30 other left-wing “donors, fundraisers and union leaders” met on Friday to develop “a strategy to make the [immigration] issue central in next year’s midterm elections if Congress does not pass a bill, identifying 10 House Republicans who would be vulnerable to pressure from Latino constituents.”

“The meeting was attended by officials from several labor unions, including the National Education Association and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, as well as representatives of deep-pocketed backers of liberal causes, including a political adviser to billionaire George Soros,” Gold added.

The 10 Republicans they are targeting are Reps. Jeff Denham (R-CA), Buck McKeon (R-CA), Gary Miller (R-CA), David Valadao (R-CA), Daniel Webster (R-FL), Mike Coffman (R-CO), Scott Tipton (R-CA), Joe Heck (R-NV), Steve Pearce (R-NM), and Randy Weber (R-TX). These representatives are largely split on immigration efforts.

Make it a central issue in next years election, and we will see how many Americans want our country given to Hispanics.

This might backfire on Soros Big Time.

Two can play the same game and We The People can climb in the RAT sewer and use their tactics back on them.

I don’t think they would like the way some would “target” democrats...

Turn about is fair play...

At this point political civility is out the window, all we can do right now is hunker down and be ready to do what we know we have to do in about 12 months...

We need to be careful using the term “Hispanic.”

My wife of 25+ years is a naturalized Cuban and I wouldn’t trade her for a hundred bigots and xenophobic “Americans.”

The term “illegals” suffices, and covers the illegal Chinese, Russians, Irish and all the rest who feed off of us along with the Mexicans.

I know many fine Hispanics who are Americans, and you are right I suppose, although IMO too many of them are all for Amnesty.

I guess its natural to have feelings for others of your group, and I would not be so against amnesty if we closed the borders-—tight. But I know and you know too that in another 5 years we will need another amnesty, just as we need this one because they will not close the borders.

This is to be considered a good thing for American politics unlike the efforts of the evil Koch brothers. Okay . . .

Soros, Satan's vicar on Earth, wants illegal invaders so that the economy of the United States will collapse and he can look at his bank account and say, “Look, two more zeroes at the end!”

Daniel Webster already in trouble for supporting ObamaCare by voting for the Boehner CR....he is also Amnesty Liberal and has indicated he will vote for an Amnesty bill

Fortunately not my Rep (John Mica is mine) but Webster hoodwinked the Tea Party in 2010

I agree 100%! part of my family came here from N. Mexico to Texas...when Texas was a Republic. Others came in the early 1900s before NM was a state.
My wife’s family came from Colombia...100% Americans.
The bigots her and elsewhere try to lump everyone into the mexican mode.

I think what will eventuate the next day after Congress passes amnesty is the sudden rise of Mexican demagogues, or more like warlords, bankrolled by Mexican drug cartels. The Mexican males will find “ a place”, as predicted by Senator Rand, in some kind of security force formed by Obama.

Unfortunately, FR welcomes these idiots.

In the past few years, they’ve really lowered the tone of discourse on this site. They’re pathetic, angry, and frightened.

Guess I should be more understanding, but f* ‘em.

I’m sick and tired of “Tea Party” bigots.

Don’t disagree with you there.

It’s all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from the Chamber of Commerce.

Business people...they’d rape your grandmother for profits. I worked in Big Pharma for years and I can tell you stories...

Cubans, BTW, are appalled by this amnesty thing. The older people only want communism destroyed so they can go home. (And it looks like that may happen soon.)

People like my wife, tho, are as American as anyone and watch the destruction of the Republic with sick hearts.

For an historical view, wiki the “Edict of Caracalla” from 212 AD. What’s happening to the United States is nothing new.

I have never understood why we would stand in the water and push off Cubans who risk their lives to come to this country, while we welcome with open arms those who sneak across the Mexican Border.

Cubans start businesses and enter the professions. In my experience, they tend to be independent-minded and cranky.

Other Latin Americans work passively as peasants for wages lower than Americans, and make business people wealthy.

Business people then bribe lawmakers with that some of that money.

Money is everything.
