I’ll take it one step further. It is the gutless voter electing the gutless. Let’s not use leader in any sentence where gutless appears.
When state after state falls under the spell of same sex “marriage” and since 1973 abortion achieving “legal” status, at least in the eyes of the legal system, Marriage between a man and a woman being the last resort after living together, fatherless children, conceived by sperm donors, and a host of ten commandment issues, one has to ask what we can expect from a jealous God.

Unless you are talking about leaders in our homes, leaders in our churches, and most importantly, leaders in our hearts, I can only conclude that it is you, sir, who have it backwards.
In the Bible, God often judged His unbelieving people by giving them bad leaders, or by raising up destroyers in nearby nations.
It is up to us, as individuals, as groups, and as churches, from the bottom up (starting at the bottom of our own hearts, one by one) to return to Him with all our heart, might, soul, and strength. God gives us the leaders we deserve.
Don’t blame others. And don’t blame God. We should each start with our own heart, and work from there.
Agreed. He is not causing it by judging us - we have taken advantage of His Humility and our own Free Will to become oh-so Human in our errors.
