Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan’s approval rating has dropped, according to a new poll.
Hagan has an approval rating of 36 percent, with 41 percent of voters disapproving of the job she is doing, according to a new survey by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic-leaning firm based in Raleigh. Another 23 percent were not sure.
That is down from last month, when her approval rating was at 43 percent, her disapproval rating was 39 percent and 18 percent were not sure.
Hagan still leads her prospective Republican opponents. She would defeat House Speaker Tom Tillis by a 47-40 percent margin, Charlotte pastor Mark Harris by a 46-38 percent margin, and Cary physician Greg Brannon by a 46-40 percent margin.
The drop in her approval rating comes at a time when the public is angry at Congress over the shut down of the federal government. Republican Sen. Richard Burr’s approval rating is 28 percent and his disapproval rating is 45 percent.
The poll of 746 North Carolina voters was conducted Oct. 4-6.
The website attempt to spin it as a positive for Hagan, by saying "Hey! She still out-polls Republicans!"
But these polls are a disaster for Hagan. As it says, she went from being approved of 43/39 to being disapproved of 41/36. Being underwater is never good for an Democrat incument, especially one in a red state.
Greg Brannon comes closes to toppling her, 40 to 46. 6 points! That doesn't seem close! But bear in mind, Greg Brannon still has very low name ID in the state. Not a lot of people know who the hell he is, but he still is on Hagan's heels.
I can see us picking up this seat. Dole only lost because she sucked at campaigning and it was a wave year for the rats.
Moving Hagan from Senate Deathwatch rating 4, down to 3, with Mark Begich. Pryor is at 1. Landrieu is at 2.
Tillis is a rino.

I think all of these polls are meaningless. The GOOBs are rushing to bring 50 million new DemocRAT voters on board right now. Americans aren’t going to stand chance of electing an American again for a long, long time.
Brannon is a rock solid conservative. Doctor, Tea Party activist, great orator, and a constitutional scholar in his own right (his grasp of the Founders is breathtaking). He will be another Ted Cruz in the senate.

My old home state had been controlled by RATS for decades but now Republicans control both houses and the guv. And they cant find anyone to defeat the Hag? What about Sue Myrick?

Burr has become extremely comfortable in Washington. He is a “Bush” Republican and votes accordingly.
Go to red state and listen to the speech Brannon gave. He knows the constitution
It’s all about numbers and the acceptance of those numbers, a black know it all who was interviewed awhile back said obama’s 41 percent was a good number for him seeing the republicans have demonized him and prevented him from doing the great things he promised but black folk are happy with this number and it’s as good as 80 percent in thier eyes. The low numbers given are the other sides numbers!
