Happened to check the WSA-Enlil model and noticed a decrease in the last pulse strength. Looked closer and it wasn’t a decrease, but an increase in the pulse tomorrow at 15:00 UT. They now have it at about a 50 on their scale of 60. This mornings hit was about 20, so tomorrow’s hit is going to be pretty strong.

Yep, I was looking for the highest recorded. Saw one at 60.3 in '03 so far.
Many think these large CME strikes on earth have a link to quake activity.

The X-Ray component of the X2 class affected communications today according to an article on spaceweather.com. Looks like the biggest portion of the X2's CME (the second pulse on the model), is going to miss the earth. Good thing, it's huge. :-)
