Firing on Marxist to hire another Marxist should fix the problem.

Pray America is Waking Up

While I too think Seebully us needs to pay for her involvement in every sinister plot happening in this admin, to fire her would do just what it did to the likes of Van Jones and Rahm Emanuel...

They take the blame, they get thrown under the bus, they leave their position, then plead the 5th and keep their mouth shut and the whole scandal goes away and those who really are to blame get away with it scott free.

I say, keep her in her place, MAKE her testify and LIE under oath, because you KNOW she will (she just lied on her interview with Jon Stewart) and add her name the the ever growing list of traitors to this country. Then push push push, to go up the chain of command and get everyone involved in this crap.

But will they do that? Or will will it be SOP in this admin?

It’s not going to do much right now

That's such a bald-faced lie.

She's in charge of everything that has yet to be done with ObamaCare, and she's in charge of an entire governmental department.

It's like saying that Lincoln should not have replaced clerk/general Halleck for US Grant as General in Chief with the explanation that "the battles are already lost".

That I wouldn’t doubt. After all, his BROTHER was the chief architect of the “vision.”

If the captain of the Titanic had lived, he would have been fired.

Kathleen Sebelius is alive. She should be fired.

By the way, Abe Vigoda is also alive - but he does not need to be fired - http://www.abevigoda.com/

You make an excellent point.

Why should we call for her firing when she is doing such an excellent job causing potentially permanent damage to the reputation of the Obama malAdministration among its most ardent supporters.

They never cut them loose - it’s a signal to others to do whatever it takes and they’ll probably be promoted.

Daley's analogy is bad. We have here in Sebelius a captain who has hit an iceberg at high speed and has failed to recognize that the ship is damaged or to alter her course or speed through the berg field. In such a circumstance it is entirely appropriate - in fact, essential - to remove the captain from the bridge.

YOU MUST KNOW HOW MUCH GOOD SENSE YOU MADE HERE: "The Chicago machine is distancing itself from Obamacare so that Rahm can run for president in 2016.

B/C Rham's bro, Dr Ezekiel Emanuel, is supposedly the (gag) brains behind O/Care.

The ship is going down all right. IMHO, that is the plan. But this is the private insurance ship going down with the gaping hole in it's side - and it's right on schedule.

Things will be so screwed up by Christmas that millions will cry out for relief. Rather than eliminate 0bamacare, the plan will emerge for a full scale push to put all the unfortunates into an already existing government plan that will take care of them. That will be either Medicare or Medicaid. People will then be charged a "fee" on a sliding scale according to their income. The system is in place and the IRS is in business with lots of new helpers.

So, the setup and structure already exists for the 'fix'. That is why the website was never intended to work and in fact was deliberately sabotaged by HHS.

As the current disaster can't be fixed with any amount of tinkering, the hue and cry will arise there is already a solution in the wings and it's in place. Of course, it is the big government one.

Don't expect the hapless GOP to be able to stand against the immense pressure of millions of frantic Americans demanding the government do something as they lose their insurance or their current rates skyrocket to unsupportable levels! The din and pressure will be unbearable for the already beaten weakfish in the GOP to resist.

There is a Savior on a white horse, and he is already riding this way with a solution. He just hasn't galloped over the hill yet...

Yep, just like when DiCaprio finally bought it in the movie.

Ezekiel Jonathan “Zeke” Emanuel (born 1957) is an American bioethicist and fellow at the nonprofit bioethics research institute The Hastings Center and is a proponent of a voucher-based universal health care.

Currently, Emanuel is acting as Special Advisor for Health Policy to Peter Orszag, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget. The Office of Management and Budget’s role is to assist the White House in the preparation and administration of the federal budget.

In articles and in his book Healthcare, Guaranteed, Emanuel said that universal health care could be guaranteed by replacing employer paid health care insurance, Medicaid and Medicare with health care vouchers funded by a value-added tax. His plan would allow patients to keep the same doctor even if they change jobs or insurance plans. He would reduce co-payments for preventive care and tax or ban junk food from schools.

In an article co-written by Ezekiel Emanuel and Victor Fuchs, Emanuel co-wrote that employer-based health insurance has “inefficiencies and inequities”, that Medicaid is “second-class” and that insuring more people without replacing those systems would be to build on a “broken system”. He said, “in the short run they require ever more money to cover the uninsured, and in the long run the unabated rise in health costs will quickly revive the problem of the uninsured.” He suggested that a federal agency be created to test the effectiveness of new health care technology.

In a Washington Post article Emanuel co-wrote with Shannon Brownlee, Emanuel described our health care system as “truly dysfunctional, often chaotic”, “spectacularly wasteful” and “expensive”.

The US health care system is considered a dysfunctional mess. Conventional wisdom has been turned on its head. If a politician declares that the United States has the best health care system in the world today, he or she looks clueless rather than patriotic or authoritative.

Ezekiel Emanuel, a noted oncologist, has helped advise the Obama administration in its effort to create an economic system larger than France’s economy to distribute health care services to over 300 million people. Together, those facts encapsulate the essence of our federal government: hopelessly overextended, devoid of caution and chock full of hubris. If that isn’t succinct enough to signal the coming disaster that will be Obamacare, then Emanuel’s recent column in the Wall Street Journal should tip the balance.

Coincidentally, the column was about me, or, more appropriately, about a class of the peasantry to which Doctor Emanuel has assigned me. That group, which he calls Young Invincibles, consists of American men under the age of 35 who haven’t purchased health insurance and, worse, don’t think they should.

In a refreshingly honest appraisal, Emanuel admits that Obamacare will virtually self-destruct if my demographic doesn’t come to its senses. The program depends on the full participation of the American citizenry. Every testosterone-soaked Young Invincible who doesn’t sign up for Obamacare will cause prices to increase. The increased prices will drive other citizens away. In the end, Obamacare will serve only the very poor (who pay subsidized rates), the very sick (who are expensive to care for) and the very old.

Bad management plagues Obamacare: Ex-Obama advisor

Published: Friday, 25 Oct 2013

The technology problems with the federal Obamacare website were a function of poor management and implementation, said Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, former special advisor on health policy to President Barack Obama.

“The people who were in charge did not…assemble a good team and assemble the team that has competency in the exact area you need,” Emanuel told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Friday. The bioethicist was part of the president’s health care reform team for two years until January 2011 and is the brother of former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

The goal has to be an “Amazon-like shopping experience,” he stressed, as the process moves forward to fix the glitches with Healthcare.gov—the federally operated health insurance online store, serving the 36 states that are not operating their own.
