Hillary Clinton Heckled During College Speech: 'Benghazi, Benghazi, You Let Them Die!'

Hillary Clinton Heckled During College Speech: 'Benghazi, Benghazi, You Let Them Die!' By Noel Sheppard Created 10/23/2013 - 11:41pm

As NewsBusters reported, the media were practically orgasmic last week when Hillary Clinton stepped into politics endorsing Terry McAuliffe for governor of Virginia.

Will they give similar coverage to a speech Clinton gave at the University of Buffalo Wednesday which was interrupted by a man in the audience screaming, "Benghazi, Benghazi, you let them die!" (videos follow with commentary):

This first video was taken by University cameras and of course focused on Clinton without moving toward the heckler.

However, this second video, though low quality, was taken by someone present in the auditorium giving better audio of the heckler's comments.

As our friends at Twitchy reported, numerous people tweeted what occurred claiming that the heckler was removed.

This led Clinton to say, "We have to be willing to come together as citizens to focus on the kind of future we want, which doesn't include yelling. It includes sitting down and talking with one another."

This was met with loud applause from the audience, and likely would from the media as well if the word "Benghazi" wasn't uttered.

Or will so-called "journalists" reference Clinton being heckled and handling it well without mentioning the man said "Benghazi" which they like President Obama consider to be a phony scandal?

If this gets covered at all, that's my bet.

“I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

In principle you are right, we have the right to disagree and protest.

Admit it though that civil (restrained?) behavior has gone out the window in the last 20 years.

People used to show more respect for a speaker or somebody with a different belief.

Heckling has become commonplace, interrupting the President and other officials is also commonplace now.

I totally disagree with Hilliary or BHO but I would let them finish their speeches...out of the minimal respect I have for them...as former or current leaders.

Don't get me wrong, we must object and argue but we should be very wary when heckling becomes common practice everywhere. The next stage is perhaps some sort of violence as was done to Berlisconi in Italy last (?) year.

I hope Hillary asked this guy “what difference does it make?”. That’s the important question.

I have her famous quote (with her name, and the date she said it) printed on shipping-sized Avery labels and stick it on the back of mail I send. I stick some of them on large Post-It notes and they find their way to various locations in grocery stores, etc.

“I would let them finish their speeches...out of the minimal respect I have for them...as former or current leaders.”

Or, the Commie speakers could display some thoughtful, debate-worthy brain power, and engage the hecklers with logical responses. Ted Cruz does it well. Oh... I remember... the Commie speakers have no brain power from which to draw. AND... The PIAPS has no reasonable expectation of respect considering her history, including being responsible for the deaths of people in Benghazi, children in the womb, Clinton Mafia hits, etc.

Hillary: “doesn’t include yelling”.

Does anybody remember this? Hillary screaming that she has a right to stand up and disagree with any administration.

In principle, you are right. We should ALL be polite. However, it has become a one-sided agreement.

When RATs are slandering American citizens who they disagree with, the vile and vicious attacks are not answered in kind.

When the RATs are engaged in attempts to deride, minimize and disregard the Constitution, no one answers back.

When Christianity is under attack in the government and the military, I’m still waiting for someone to say “Enough”!

Christ told us to turn the other cheek when we are attacked, He did NOT say to stand there and be slapped silly.

Well now, Hillary got near-hysterical, screaming and banging on her desk during the Benghazi hearing, which was not a “conversation” so much as theatrics to distract from the topic — hmm— sort of like “heckling” now that you mention it....

No. We need to start fighting back with the same tactics they use. Being polite is getting us nowhere. Being rude has been sucessful for them.

I hear and agree with you.

We have been under attack since 2008.

I am outraged by many issues but I am fearfull of the polarization happening in this country.
We feel threatened,(we are) so we slam it back at them.

This is a vicious circle and dangerous. The Republic is designed to be very elastic but it has a snapping point, the Founding Fathers knew this.

The anger boils over sometimes. All I am saying is that instead of yelling and being aggressive, we should channel it to ousting the incompetent zeros. We need to redouble our efforts within the system to retake this country back, politically.

If we keep on this track, we turn into Minutemen with muskets and that will call out the Robocops, already waiting for the green light.

Got to change from within and oust these louses. Hey, I like that, “Oust the Louse”...

In an annoying screech:“I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

I’m betting the heckler was a plant: “Let’s get the potential problem out of the way. Have somebody there to heckle me — somebody really unattractive and unpleasant — and I will come back with a tough, direct response, a select group of our friends in the audience will applaud my comment loudly, getting to their feet, encouraging others to join in. Guards then haul the plant away. It shows I can handle confrontations. It might avert any further efforts by hecklers to interfere with my message.” For any of you who don’t think Hillary would arrange for such a thing to happen ... think again.

alinsky works in both directions and the America you pine for is dead. We are trying to bring it back but war is a dirty business.

Thanks for the report. Once that guy had made the decision to heckle, it’s too bad he hadn’t read my tag line first. Must not have been a Freeper. . .
