White House admits killing civilians with drone strikes, denies breaking law (NOT Obamacare)

Two leading human rights groups released detailed reports on U.S. drone strikes Tuesday that accuse the government of killing civilians and violating international law. The White House admitted killing civilians, but denied breaking the law, saying the strikes were "precise" and "lawful."

Amnesty International, which studied 45 drone strikes in Pakistan in 2012 and 2013, said the U.S. violated the internationally recognized “right to life” and may have committed war crimes.

“There are real threats to the U.S. in the region,” said Naureen Shah, Amnesty’s advocacy adviser, “but it is hard to imagine that a 68-year-old grandmother or a 14-year-old boy are among them. Something clearly went wrong and the U.S. government needs to come clean.”

Merciless eyes from which no one escapes scrutiny, a secret board of government operatives deciding life or death, a sudden opportunity to strike the target, approach, acquisition, and obliteration.

Of course it's about 0bamacare!

At some point, things have to get sooo bad the media has to save their own butts. I’ve heard and said that for years and can’t believe how long these guys held out. But it might just be possible that they’ve finally had enough.

And who engineered the legalities necessary to defend drone strikes, even against US citizens?

[drum roll]

Jeh Johnson, obama's nominee for Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, and former Pentagon Chief Council.

Any terrorist not a member of some active military is a civilian.

Terrorists colocated with noncombatants are not legally protected by the noncombatants. Rather, by their presence with a noncombatant they withdraw protection that would normally be afforded to the noncombatant. The rules are written that way to give combatants no reason to colocate with noncombatants.

I’m good with drones killing muslims in pakistan. Saves american lives. What I don’t get is why Obama likes it. He is doing his best to install terrorists in the middle east. Given his idealogy I am not sure why he likes this except perhaps to gain experience on using this technology to take out other “enemies”

The left wanted Bush prosecuted for war crime. But for Obastard, it sheds off them like water off a ducks back.
