Actually this is inaccurate. Under the conditions, vigilantism occurs. If the corruption is local, it does likely mean the end of the local government. But at the national level, the corrupt spend so much time clinging to power that they lose it. But it is not the nation that is doomed, but its government.
To an evader,a feeling of some kind is more important than truth.If he doesn't like a certain fact or idea, or policy,because it is unpleasant or frightening or guilt-provoking, he avoids it.
Evasion is a vice because it is profoundly destructive.It invalidates a mental process. Morally it is the essence of evil.

Oh, yeah. Consider the real impact of the accession to power over the IRS and the Just-Us Department by the thoroughly corrupt members of the most criminal administration in U.S. history. Levers of power. Where once the potential excesses on the part of the holders of those levers were at least a little tempered by the knowledge that soon they would yield them to the opposition, this bunch hasn’t the slightest intention of ever letting that happen.
There are those who can be great leaders, and those who can be great managers. There are are a few who can be great at both. Obama is good at neither.
