It’s time to slap his name on another of his crowning achievements: Obamaware. It’s the piece of garbage combination of software, hardware, website, and online application process that goes with Obamacare. The outrageously expensive miserable failure of an information technology project is now called Obamaware. The five million lines of sloppy and shoddy computer programming are called Obamaware. The half-billion dollar software project that was illegally contracted out to incompetent programmers and never even tested is now called Obamaware. The overpriced bloated website healthcare.gov – that gives people the dreaded ‘404’ and no one can even log into – is now called Obamaware. The online application process that takes hours to try to complete (before people encounter the circle of death, give up, and just x-out) is called Obamaware. The application that asks way too much personal information is Obamaware. The e-commerce website that asks for a credit card number before giving you a price is called Obamaware. In fact, from now on, any crappy software project, miserably failed internet project, stupid website, outrageously overpriced computer program with illogical coding, shall be deemed: Obamaware.
Obamaware: The legacy continues.
unfortunately “Failware” doesn’t convey the message (linkage to Obama) that you desire, but that is exactly what we are talking about here...
Maybe instead of mistake proofing we can Obama proof or de-obama instead of debug.
As a retired Contracting Officer (NPS) I think this “sole source” procurement is a boon doggle of the first order. I would love to see the justification for awarding this contract to an obviously incompetent firm.
