It would be impossible for most Christians to kill their mothers and grandmothers. Okay, I've been out of the loop since 1987 when I left Navy. I'm just going by what the families are claiming about the so-called armoured MH-47. I worked with the original CH-47 and new them to be waiting death traps for our Marines as I launched them off LPH-11. Where were the more versatile UH-60's in this day?
Either way, too many Spec Op guys on one slow moving flatform. Not being there and not sure what the ops commander was thinking, but in my day they would have split that many Spec Ops between 2 Chinooks with Cobras or Hueys for support or dropped them in at higher altitude for a later extraction.

We shouldn't know, but probably public information. There is a reason that SEALs are not highly visible, much like CIA NOCs. They are considered clandestine operatives for special missions, although not as secretive as CIA operatives.

Faith and Reason can never be separated....ever. It is a lie (irrational) to claim it can be separated. To do so—dehumanizes-—makes man something he can not be: just material matter.....he consists of metaphysical properties always. To deny that-—is denial of Reality/Truth.
No matter how people want to remove the metaphysical from the material (facts) —it is a fallacy-—impossible.
It is why we disagree——the Truth is being erased. There is no Truth today—even in your statement (change the subject to religion??????)-which includes what happened to SEALTeam 6.

It is all about Truth (God). There is no Truth without God (Objective Truth).
To say “religion” can be separated from any worldview, any idea is really ignorance in the concept of “ideas” and “Truth”.
There is a reason “The Age of Reason” and “Science” was “invented” by Christians only. With Objective Truth-—God-—there will always be Progress towards the understanding of Reality. Without God-—there are many “truths” which are nothing but lies and irrational since Natural Law (Science) proves one Designer.
