What a patriot! Ted Cruz will go down in history as one of only 3 patriots that gave their all to save our country.
All of the rest of those on “the hill” are cowards, cheats, and downright enemies of our country.
Except that now they won’t have any problems at all finding at least 6 or 7 Republican senators to vote to end his filibuster. So he might shut it down for 30 hours but that’s about it.
After Jan 1 everyone should have a pretty good idea of how much Obamacare is going to really cost them.
The tea party should be making demands NOW for a 20% reduction in the budget. I know they should be demanding a balanced budget but 20% is all they can hope for at this time. And I picked 20 because that is the amount used for the sequestration.
Maybe they should completely drop the Bongocare meme too. It’s a marxist ideal but it may fail on its own. Anyways, it’s is distracting from the bigger isssue of run away spending.
Why make demands when they will be ignored?
There has not been a single piece of legislation over the past 20 - 30 years that has anywhere near the potential to destroy our country as Obamacare. Period. Obviously, you don’t understand that.

Basically, within three weeks of the President’s official request for a debt limit increase (until Feb 7, 2014 in this case), Congress can force a vote to disapprove of the request. Cruz can try again, the Dems will set up the same PR ambush and chew up more precious time as Obamacare failure will be replaced with gov shutdown news. Wall Street will join the MSM to punish GOP because they do not like anyone screwing with their profits. If Cruz is going to lead the GOP he needs to incorporate wisdom in his keen intellect. The clean ticket to victory in 2014 is Obamacare. Gain the Senate and keep the House in 2014 and take the WH in 2016. The smartest thing the Dems will do before 2014 is delay the ACA so the ill effects can be hidden before the 2014 elections.
