WP: Business Groups Stand By Boehner, Plot Against Tea Party (groups compare tea party to Taliban)
Washington Post ^ | 10/17/2013 | Washington Post

Despite presiding over a chamber that nearly drove the country to a debt default, John A. Boehner still has the enduring support of a group that would’ve been most harmed by that event: the business community.

Rather than revisit their strategy of supporting Republicans after this week’s near-disaster, influential organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are standing behind Boehner.

More importantly, Boehner’s friends in the business community are getting ready to take sides in a few Republican primary races against tea party candidates in Michigan, Idaho and Alabama who could cause the House speaker more trouble.

“I don’t know of anybody in the business community who takes the side of the Taliban minority,” said Dirk Van Dongen, longtime chief lobbyist for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors who has known Boehner since the lawmaker’s first election.

Boycott worked in the First Tea Party,
and would end this now.

Every backer of the RINOs and the MSM
should be identified.

It is one thing to say you compare the Tea Party to the Taliban. It is quite another to come up with valid reasons why you take that stance. Does Dirk Van Dongen have any valid reasons why he has come to this conclusion?

No one in house is running against Bohner anyway, they didnt in January and they are not now.

They dont want to be Speaker, they want him to be the goat while they get on TV and announce they are voting ‘no’ on stuff that Obama signs anyway.

Rush and Levin wont tell you that but I will.

Its a Kabuki dance.

I thought the bias from the media in 2008 and 2012 were the worst I have ever seen but the media might have out done themselves here .
Their bias is not even hidden anymore.

I would say that there is more rage and hatred out there now than during the Civil War. Just my thoughts on it.

It’s why my wife moved from MA and to FL, why stay in a state where your vote is a waste of time, why pay those socialist taxes for them to pass even more of their socialist crap.

When the fit hits the shan and Obamacare is in full force and everyone is hating it, the Tea Party “taliban” should be screaming — I told you so a thousand times a day.

If you want to understand why groups like these publicly support obumber, dig for the Wall Street Journal story on the real story as to why the DOJ is prosecuting JP Morgan.

Not that I am any fan of the super big banks. Quite the contrary.

But the fact is that obumbler and JP Morgan were thick as thieves, if you will pardon the pun, but obumbler turned on him like a pit bull because Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase made the mistake of criticizing obumbler.

The result has so far cost JP Morgan BILLIONS in attorney fees, settlements, etc., and the end is not in sight.

Companies who exist under the blessing of government permits or government contracts have to be very careful.

The big question is:

Would Bammy et. al. have turned on their Bankster base and actually defaulted on some of the Treasury bucketfuls of paper output?

They will if their voters say they’ll sit home in 12 months. Speakers change. We had three in the late nineties, and this one is not effective.

Congressman are concerned about reelection. I laid out to mine that my eyes are on immigration. I told him I will hold HIM accountable if our leadership allows amnesty in any form. A vote against is not good enough. The leadership serves at their pleasure and their are accountable for that vote.
