A baby boom among conservatives could push the nation's politics further right in the coming decades, especially since liberals aren't having as many children, according to a new study of online dating habits of conservatives and liberals.
The study featured in a Harvard University Shorenstein Center review of recent surveys released Tuesday on how political polarization of the nation is impacting Washington's budget talks is the first to challenge left-leaning pundits who have claimed that as the white population shrinks, the GOP will become marginalized.
Instead, the study in the authoritative journal Political Behavior, conducted by scholars from Brown and Penn State University, suggested that liberals could be the endangered species in the coming decades as conservatives, typically white, have more children than liberals. And those children, this study and others show, commonly follow the politics of their parents.
Deep in the study, “The Dating Preferences of Liberals and Conservatives,” the authors cite indications that conservative families are having more children than liberals and that could change the political tilt of the nation, according to their simulations. And, they added, it could happen faster than their tests show.....

Why should anyone be proud of voting for Nixon? The idea he was a conservative is laughable. Noam Chomsky consider him one of the three great liberal presidents. And he may have been the worst. The U.S, would have been better of if McGovern got elected. At least the left would have to take them blame. We should dig up Nixon’s grave and send him to China with his commie buddies. He was a total traitor to this country.
If that's true, then the election of Tricky Dick would not have been far behind. Or maybe even a little ahead.

Hooray. White conservatives should have at least five children each — that would push us far ahead of the parasite class and the liberals. It’s a matter of survival. BTW, this is not unheard of India’s Hindus continue to have high birth rates to keep Muslims from taking over the country through higher birth rates.

Which election am I confusing? 1960, 1968, 1972?
Electing Eisenhower’s vice president would have made an incredible difference, and America would have survived and would be totally different (in 1960 even Nixon was a very different man).
Imagine no Vietnam, no 1960s era dominated by Vietnam and the draft and resistance, no Kennedy assassinations, no unionizing of government employees, NO 1965 IMMIGRATION ACT that led to the end of America.
No Watergate, no Bay of Pigs, a President Reagan in 1968 without any Bush dynasty being created, no LBJ, no Goldwater debacle, no creation of Ted Kennedy the Senatorial Giant.
Imagine America without this immigration that killed it and no 1960s.
That was a coup on the left’s part - let the conservatives raise and support the kids, then “take” them by ideologically adopting them.
However, enter the homeschooling movement.
Evangelical homeschoolers have 4-10 kids that are not exposed to brainwashing, get a firm grounding in the truth and apologetics, and are 14 times more likely to be involved politically.
My mistake, I was thinking you were referring to my post on the 1960 election, not the one on the 1972 election comparing boomers voting republican as youth and serving in the military by the many millions compared to Obama winning 66% of their vote of what is a military avoiding generation.
We can probably tie much of our demise to abortion/feminism.
