President Obama’s top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown with Republicans over ObamaCare as part of a strategy to regain Democratic control of the House next year, claims author Ed Klein.
Klein — who wrote a provocative biography about Obama last year entitled “The Amateur” — said White House insiders refer to Jarrett as “The Night Stalker” because she is the only presidential aide who frequently spends time in the family quarters and dines with the Obamas.
Klein, who is conducting a research for a new Obama tome scheduled for next spring, called Jarrett the “architect” of Obama’s take-no- prisoners approach when it comes to his signature domestic policy initiative.
It was Jarrett who advised Obama that voters would mostly blame Republicans if the federal government ground to a halt, providing a golden opportunity to swing back control of the House to Democrats in the 2014 mid-term elections, according to Klein.
A Democratic House would give Obama an opportunity to pass immigration and other legislation blocked by the current Republican majority.
“It was during one of those nightly sessions that Jarrett devised the no-negotiating strategy that Obama has employed in his fight with the GOP over the government shutdown,” Klein said, citing sources within the administration.
“Valerie came up with the concept late at night, after the kids and grandma and were gone.”
“She convinced the president that a government shutdown and default offered a great opportunity to demonize the Republicans and help the Democrats win back a majority in the House of Representatives in 2014 .

When BOR asked him if Hagel called he said,yes and thanked him. Then BOR asked if Obama had called him he responded no, but stated Valerie Jarret had called him.

Jarrett played Boehner like a fiddle, knew he would push for the left wing moderate plan and thus end up with not enough votes to pass something to the Senate or place on Obama’s desk. And he played it true to form. Don’t overlook the fact that Reid had to take his orders to play his role or this sham would never have worked. Boehner should just quit the Congress right now, he’s such a tool. For crying out loud, if you telegraph what you are going to do then the other side can take the initiative and we will always be playing on defense. Boehner has truly and totally screwed this entire country. And in the end he was bested by some Communist Hag.
No surprise. There’s always been someone telling obama what to say. And it appears she’s going to win. Boner will cave but the tea party guys will be able to go home and say “We tried.”
Obama has never negotiated on anything.

That will never happen. Valerie controls Obama and I do strongly suspect that there is a very powerful moneyed group behind her. Obama is just a tool and will perform as ordered.
Having gone to all this effort and expense, I don't see the cabal's leadership letting their acquired power slip through their fingers.
For purpose of discussion, let's stipulate that Obama leaves office on schedule in 2016. On the other hand, if he's become a burden, he'll be made a martyr.
The chosen successor MUST be somebody who has proven themselves loyal and committed to a continuing program of "communism at home, radical Islam abroad".
Hillary, certainly, has made her contribution in both respects.
But...I wonder if she doesn't also represent a prohibitive risk. When you get Hillary, you get a competing power center...you get Bill. And you get another set of advisors and consultants -- who may not be "with the program".
Moreover, you get a team that might be more interested in crass corruption than in executing the desired policy. And a team that might think they're bigger and more important than you. While they might be inclined to cooperate (e.g., Huma), they might also decide to call their own shots.
By contrast, I don't think Obama has ever questioned his controllers or has any desire to act independently. He's along for the ride...and the revenge.
Obama's superiors are powerful enough to take Hillary out...if they wish. A few leaks about Benghazi could destroy her candidacy. Where they might go next, though, I haven't a clue...
At any rate, the 2016 general election figures to be the absolute dirtiest ever.
