They could run out as early as Nov.1.

There are several threads going about this.

I saw a news article that said Walmart says they made the right decision even though a social service agency had said they should limit the transactions to $50.

The employees at fault? Put yourself in their position for a moment....

I posted this on another thread about this very subject but it also seems germane here:

They were just afraid of what would happen if they said ‘no’ to a pack of blacks. They would have had a whole bunch of 250 pound babies throwing fits and acting like savages. So they just said go ahead, rob us, at least then you won't try to kill us.

Appeasement is never the answer.

Walmart Says Food Stamp Shopping Spree Was 'Right Choice'

I can understand why Walmart allowed the looting of their stores; it is cheaper than the damage a riot would cause and less like to cause injury. However, when and where does a civil society draw the line such behavior?

I lived and worked in the NOLA area for 30+ years. I'm well aware of the mindset involved. We, as a society; a nation, can not allow this sort of thing to continue. It has gone on far too long.

The punishment will be administered on a race-by-case basis.
