Certainly does not shut down the bs.
What is wrong with default? As opposed to giving away newly printed cash we are not allowed to print today.

By not passing a House bill Boehner has given Mitch a chance to be a hero and save his reelection, and the country.
Hard to picture him that way but I can’t believe Boehner just sandbagged him.

The Conservatives did NOT balk... they DID vote. They voted for a Balanced Budget. GREAT for them! Of course, rather than using their fingers to vote (pressing a button) they chose to vote with their Feet!

Make them eat it and see how their reelection campaigns go next year. The stakes are pretty high, but no doubt they will cave. Ironic thing is they may lose their seats either way. Either libs or tea party will vote them out.
