MISSISSIPPI REPUBLICANS CENSURE THAD COCHRAN
Fit News ^ | 10/15/13

We’ve written extensively of late regarding the widening divide between fiscally conservative Republicans and the “neoconservative” fiscally liberal wing of the party – led by U.S. Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and John Cornyn.

In fact according to the website Mississippi PEP, they’ve censured him.

For those of you unfamiliar with this aging RINO, Cochran is one of several Southern “Republicans” who habitually caves to U.S. President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats (along with Graham, North Carolina’s Richard Burr, Tennessee’s Lamar Alexander and Georgia’s Johnny Isakson).

“When any official continues to engage repeatedly in a course of conduct that violates fundamental principles of the Mississippi Republican Platform, even after such actions have been publicly called to his attention, it is the responsibility of all Republicans, including this body, to take such remedial measures as are reasonably available to them,” a censure resolution against Cochran reads.

Item one on the resolution?

Cochran’s cowardly vote last month enabling Democrats in the U.S. Senate to pass a spending plan which included funding for Obamacare.

The only thing I know about Thad is that he paid me after mowing his lawn in the early eighties.

Yeah we’ve had enough. But even if this leech loses, he will cash a paycheck better than most of us earn. Every month for the rest of his life.

Let that sink in for a moment.

It is past time to eliminate all pensions for Congress.

Actually Lott and Cochran never got along; neither did Specter and Heinz. But in both situations, there was little difference in their voting records. Lott knew how to inflate his voting record to deceive the uninformed. People in PA and MS may have had the two most important Civil War battles in their states, but about all they know now is to go with their “friendly” incumbent.

I called Gohmert's office today and asked what will it take to get Louie to run for Corny's Senate seat. The staffer seemed very pleased to hear that but said if he knew (what it would take), he'd tell me.

I also asked if they're getting lots of calls asking the same thing. He said they're getting quite a few calls. I told him that Louie would have an army standing ready to volunteer, donate, etc to boot Corny.

Run, Louie, run!!

lott and cochran conspired together and protected bill clinton without a doubt. I despise both men. wicker is hardly any better. Believe me... if cochran runs with no primary opponent... many will just leave it blank. We will never vote for a rat but I will never again cast a vote for cochran. Most rats that would have a chance would vote exactly like cochran. The man hasn’t answered an email or a phone call with a follow up yet. At least wicker does that. We have a great Governor now... much better than the fat corporatist criminal loving barbour. What a putrid pos he turned out to be. We are trying to clean up Mississippi... we have a great Congressman now at least. Palazzo has been very good. He may replace wicker on 2016.

You might want to check yourself on Perry. He’s not terrible, but I don’t think many Texan’s are fooled by him. He backed his own RINO for Cruz’s spot until Palin anointed Cruz for the win. Dewhurst fell off the map when Palin came to town and Cruz went up 30+ points. I could live with Perry, but I hold no illusions that he wouldn’t end up even worse then Cornyn.
