Here's a blog in Georgia saying the same thing, with comments saying it's also happened in Ohio.

Just contacted KUSI in San Diego - newsroom had not heard anything yet, but she quickly found it on the internet. She was very happy to get the info.

I suggest people contact their local news outlets.
