I wonder if this is being reported in the U.S. media. I see the day coming when people are going to have a belly full of this and the cops will not be safe anywhere they are. If we can’t be protected from half-assed, poorly researched no-knock raids by a bunch of roided up goons with guns, they don’t deserve safety from the public that they are sworn to protect.

Uh, yea sure. Marijuana growing equipment? That would be the empty planters, bag of potting soil, hose and used plant food spray?

NO MORE SWAT RAIDS.

NO MORE WACOS.

Cops ought to get the death penalty for this.

I hope she gets every penny of that settlement, and turns around and establishes a trust for victims of SWAT team thugs.

How is it possible for an unconstitutional no knock raid to "go right". Gestapo thugs, toting NAZI MP-5 sub machine guns, bashing doors off hinges, then shooting people and dogs. Is it possible for this to "go right"?

Once again, no evidence of illegal meth lab, just Gestapo getting their rocks off shooting people and dogs.

The cure is far worse than the disease. Gone wrong my arse.

So, how did the Killer Klown Kops get the idea that there was a “meth lab” there in the first place? Informant? Paid informant? Curious.

As one who has, have you ever had to shoot someone?

I had a jack booted thug break into my home at 2 in the morning several years ago. They were lucky. Me too I guess. I had a pistol on top of the gunsafe at my bedroom door. I was “this close” to pulling it when I heard them banging on the door. Met them coming down the dark hall...Tried to tell anyone who would listen that the cop was crazy.

Want to know how crazy? Maybe a year afterward he pulled over two young blacks just outside the project. He got shot. The 2 were found not guilty. Why? Cause the cop was acting all crazy and they feared for their lives. Yep, shot a cop and got away with it.

Maybe it runs in the family? His brother was a cop in a neighboring town. Pulled his ex-wife over in the parking lot of a local business. Drug her around the lot by her hair. Big fist fulls of hair all around the lot. Then he shot her in the head. Then, he shot himself. Funeral with full honors. Cops and firefighters from all over the county came. Made me sick to my stomach.

Some here have questioned my disgust with law enforcement. This is just one of many examples. Personal examples

Death to people with a couple plants you don’t approve of? What kind of jerk are you?

When they kick out your front door
How you gonna’ come? With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun?

When the Law breaks in
How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement
Or waiting in death row?

You can crush us, you can bruise us,
But you’ll have to answer to
ohhh, ohhh, the guns of Brixton...

Eugene Mallory was shot six times in a June 27 raid by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department who arrived at the property with a search warrant because it allegedly smelled of the ingredients used to make methamphetamine.

Probably smelled of chemicals which could just as likely be used in cleaning swimming pools, disinfecting toilets, etc.

No evidence of a meth lab was ever found at the Littlerock home but marijuana and marijuana-growing equipment were said to have been found.

One half-consumed joint, and - heavens! - lots of light bulbs, fertilizer, etc.

Police also found two guns on the property.

Good Lord!! Guns!

'The suspect pointed the handgun at the deputies and a deputy-involved shooting occurred.'

Don't you just love the use of the Passive Voice? A "deputy-involved shooting occurred?"Actually, to be more precise, it was a "deputy-bursting-into-the-wrong-address"-involved shooting that "occurred."

The lesson here is… don’t pull a gun on a deputy.

Wrong; the lesson to be learned here is: Pull the trigger faster.

Regards,

The term ‘Los Angeles County’ tipped it off for me.

I have my examples, too. I don’t trust cops and believe we should find them unconstitutional and banned. This country wasn’t founded on cops and didn’t have a need for them then. Cops are the worst criminals and anyone that claims to be a cop and never having knowing violated the law as a cop is a liar.

No, the lesson here is "If you have a warrant to serve, walk up to the front door, knock, and, when a resident answers the door, present them with the warrant and conduct your search.".

Possession of a plant should be considered a capital offense?

What’s your proposed penalty for murder?

In 2005, there were 450 no-knock raids PER MONTH in the city of New York, ten percent of which were the wrong address.

I thoroughly disagree with the insane gestapo-ization of the police forces, as well as what appears to be this individual incident.

But some dopehead filth gets polished off in the process, I won’t be mourning. Good riddance to him.

I’m planning to have “marijuana-growing equipment” in my basement this year - grow lights I’ll be using to keep the front-porch plants alive over the winter.

I didn’t see it in the article but I assume it was another “no knock” raid. One of these times they’ll do that and several cops will get shot. When that happens I hope the home owner survives to tell the tale. But I doubt they will.

Yeah, lets hunt down and kill people who smoke pot or grow it for that matter. Then we can go to the doctor, complain of a bad back and they will give us 120 Oxycodone pills a month and the public will have to pay for it.
By that same logic I assume you think the police should gun down people in their homes who drink too much as well as the pot smokers. Ever met someone who had 3 Starbucks coffees a day? or a couple 5 hr energy drinks or they were unbearable? How far off are they from someone who snorts a line of coke every 6 months? Which one should die?
