Just 51,000 people completed Obamacare applications during the first week the Healthcare.gov website was online, according to two sources inside the Department of Health and Human Services who gave MailOnline an exclusive look at the earliest enrollment numbers.

The career civil servants, who process data inside the agency, confirmed independently that just 6,200 Americans applied for health insurance through the problem-plagued website on October 1, the day it first opened to the public.

Well 85% of us already had insurance, which is why any large government program like Obamacare was always going to be a wasted effort.

By my math, at this rate, the nation will be completely enrolled in 128 years.

Not accounting for new population growth, that is.

I guess we’ll need a whole lot more prisons to accommodate the violators.

The 7 million number is bogus. What if most of that number get free healthcare and everyone else opts out?

I don't know whether I'm going to be required to register on that site to prove my insurance status, or if it's going to be part of my next 1040. Or something all together different - maybe they'll come to my door and "interview" me with a menacing glare.

Gee! I guess we’ll just have to go to a single provider to make this work.

51,000 scammed in a week, that’s not bad, scammers everywhere are encouraged.

I get the feeling a lot of people are seeing the price tags on the exchanges, thought they were getting free or reduced costs, and just walking away.

They won’t be back, either.

Au contraire, my friend. Once you enter your data, there's no erasing it. You may not come back, but you will pay.

Relax. By my estimate, at 51,000 signups per week, it'll only take 113 years to register the US population.

“The Congressional Budget Office says Obamacare needs at least 7 million customers to stay afloat financially”

Nonsense. Even if they only get 50,000, our overlords in DC will just raise taxes to cover whatever is needed. And if the People are too broke to pay those taxes, the Fed will just buy the debt with more money.

Remember, there is no failed government program that can't be kept alive forever just by throwing more money at it.

Well, the obvious solution is a single payer system. Wait for it...

And how many of those 51,000 will actually be writing a check for their health insurance?

How mny are there to compare prices and programs ?
How many are unique visitors ?
Many people said that they could progress just so far , and then the software would just shut down , and boot them
and how many were like Hannity , and made multiple unsuccessful attempts to even get in ..
only to find a 404 ?

Completing an application isn’t the same thing as enrolling. You have to apply to even see the rates.

I believe a total FEAR of one’s personal data getting compromised is just as strong.

"If you're not doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to worry about..."

(in a sneering condescending Leftist voice)

Yes, I've really had that said to me...
