NEWBURYPORT — Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.
Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country....
For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.

I guess this answers the question that many have asked: Will the police follow orders to confiscate guns or shoot their owners when it comes to that.
Looks like following orders (even if they are plainly illegal) comes natural to a lot of people.

I will have a hard time offering anything but contempt to any Park Service Employee. They are playing the part of jack booted thugs and need to receive scorn and verbal insults at every opportunity!

Seems like these ‘rangers’ aren’t the helpful and kind servants and conservators they like to portray themselves as. Nothing but a bunch of effing Nazi Government Goons, apparently.

The question has been asked on various other threads in the past .... would Americans (like police, military, .... rangers) take orders from the government i.e. tin pot dictator Obama and open fire on their fellow Americans? Looks like Obama has turned the NPS into his own version of the Brown Shirts. He’s ‘testing’ the waters ..... NPS/gov’t workers obeying orders to be ‘ugly’ (first step - what is next?) to their fellow citizens, no real pushback from the sheeple.
In all of these cases, try and get the names and pictures of the brown shirts and post them to social media. The park rangers must be shunned in their communities. They are agents of the oppressor. A diplomatic protest from a foreign government would also be in order.

I think this shows that the purpose of big government is to employ leftists... the bigger government gets, the more leftists are employed, ensconcing all the more the leftist’s power. Government employment is like working for a union... the government shuts down, the union sends out its goons to beat people up and break things, and everybody else shies away... damnable... how long America, how long?
The parks are The King's Forest and commoners may visit at the King's sufferance.

I’m actually starting to wonder whether NPS police/rangers are engaging in malicious obedience in the hope of drawing attention to what they’re being ordered to do.
