Actually, the SUV driver DID stop and didn't take off until one of the asswipes attempted to enter the SUV by opening one of its doors.

I was surprized to see the door opened the second time the SUV stopped. Every car I’ve had for the last 15 years had automatic door locks that engage after hitting 10 mph or so.
I’m curious what the unedited video showed.
What I saw was one of the bikers slowing down in front of an SUV and looking back over his left shoulder at the SUV. There were bikers all around.
Is that not the beginning of the incident?
He ran over a couple trying to get away from the first assault at which point the bikers chased him down and tried to kill him.
