OMG!! Boehner said ‘CONVERSATION” a THOUSAND times!!!<P.Jihn, if you EVER say CONVERSATION AGAIN, you are TOAST as the SPEAKER!! HOW WEAK can you get!????

“Conversation.” It’s just a god awful word as it is used in political Washington, absolutely meaningless. It’s almost like, like, y’know, like, man, like, y’know?

It doesn’t even rise to the level of punctuation or guttural utterance. Y’know?

Dude, you got the WRONG King. Peter the RINO King isn’t on with Cruz; STEVE King, CONSERVATIVE, is.

Lot’s of folks need to read better...

It seems like CC is actually enjoying talking with Ted Cruz. Is she a masochist or does she respect a real intellect?

Cruz is steamrolling Crowley. She has her WH generated questions and talking points and he isn’t allowing her lies to stick. He is amazing.

Reps. Peter King, R-N.Y.,

He just spews the same old Republican minority chestnut, we can only repeal it. The undercurrent argument is Obamacare will be just like the way we repealed welfare, Medicaid, Section 8, etc., when people saw how BAD those programs were...

Oh, wait.

$16 trillion of debt later the RINOs are sure that passive aggressive behavior is still the ONLY way to go.

Boehner has a tough job here, Ann...

I do give him credit for, so far, starting and sustaining the fight...

But the fight is based on public perception, and the media and democrats (same thing, actually) are DESPERATE to prove the mean ole Republicans want to starve babies and kill old people (or the other way around, I can never get that talking point straight!), and Boehner’s job is to look REASONABLE. So any crevasse or crack where the GOP looks unreasonable the media will exploit like the Colorado river carving out the Grand Canyon...

The stick in the media/dems/Obama’s eye is the huge debacle known as Obamacare that the Republicans are fighting them over, and the slowly snowballing perception of the public that it is indeed a debacle, and those that told them otherwise were the liars, not the TEA party.

There just may be a political transformation going on now (from the sheeple perspective), and Boehner’s job is to smile and look reasonable. As A RINO, it must KILL him not to cave (at least so far). Bu this time, let's encourage him to continue on the path he has taken...

I agree that Ted Cruz is brilliant, but in this case what’s amazing is the fact that there is FINALLY a Perfect Storm Conservative. Ted Cruz is just that, principled, deep abiding love for country, not afraid to place country above politics, and what makes this storm perfect-—a country that most desperately needs what he offers.

Ditto.

Is he on the telly today? Which show?

Wallace starts asking two Repubs if Boehner should still be the Speaker but would he dare ask Demoviks if Harry Reid should still be Leader? The big media including Fox just isn’t even PRETENDING anymore.

The key thing about Cruz is that he fully understands the fundamental nature of the opposition - and his “allies”. His willingness to fight and to articulate basic American notions of limited government is something we’ve been looking for since Reagan.

The last little exchange showed Crowley's lockstep DNC allegiance when she threw the reporterette who asked Reid the question about the cancer kid under the bus. She would trash her colleague rather than any Dem.

Obviously, I do. I jumped the gun when I considered the possibility of a Ted Cruz - Peter King cage match. More scenes we'd like to see.

Thank you for the correction. I will be more careful next time.

It’ll be kind of weird not seeing George Will on ABC morning on sunday. We I was in college I always enjoyed watching This Week with David Brinkley and I remember seeing Will on there. Yes he is a bit of a inside the beltway type but sometimes he slaps down the lefty the way they should.

Will is on the FNS panel this morning.

He has been rather quiet. Rove seems to be the one doing most of the commentary.

Ugh. I missed it. Now I'm watching the flying monkeys tag-team King.

Hope to catch it on YouTube.

I think it would be like a Tyson fight back when he was moving on up. Cruz would TKO Peter the King in round 1 in about 19 seconds !

Peter the King would wake up biting the canvas and wondering what the hell happened!

Great piece bray. Like you I am amazed at what Boehner and the Republicans have been able to do.

Funny thing is if the dems keep trying to self-destruct by closing down stuff people really like unnecessarily, they just might steal defeat from the arms of victory.

As I said last week from my standpoint win lose or draw,we now have a recognized leader in Ted Cruz and to me he's the Ronald Reagan II we have been waiting for.I will never forget the 20 plus hours he spoke and many saw the light of a leader in his speech.

Sorry bray but I can't have you insulting rodeo clowns like that.(LOL)

The real rodeo clown donned an ozero mask and got a huge applause when he asked the crowd if they wanted to see the bull chase obama around for a while.Who wouldn't after getting bull-whipped for four years!!

We need more rodeo clowns not fewer.LOL!!

The DC groupthink of letting Repubs destroying themselves is a false belief. The Repubs are finally standing for their voters and getting stronger.
