Networks Embrace IPCC Report's Fraudulent Warnings

Global Warming: Temperatures have flat-lined for 15 years, the Arctic and Antarctic are gaining record amounts of ice, most computer models have been wrong, yet the networks are buying into the alarmists' narrative.

Earth might not have a fever but the media do, judging by their hyperventilating about the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's quite fraudulent report (Fifth Assessment Report or 5AR) released Sept. 27. One network — CBS— even turned a blind eye to the truth and claimed that temperatures "could have risen by more than 200 degrees."

This fiction came from CBS' Ben Tracy, who said the carbon dioxide absorbed into the ocean is a time bomb already impacting sea life. Tracy said the oceans have absorbed much of the heat caused by increasing CO2 levels and claimed that had "all that heat gone into the atmosphere, air temperatures could have risen by more than 200 degrees," while "212 degrees" appeared in graphics.

In other words, were it not for the oceans, Earth would be Venus. But what Tracy should have concluded is our world is not all that fragile and is a self-regulating entity where temperatures are not a straight-line path to doom but rather a fluctuating condition over millennia. Similarly, ice ages, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes and the like come and go in cycles.

NBC and ABC were only slightly less hysterical. ABC flashed "big warning" onscreen as it announced the "landmark" report from "top scientists." NBC predictably linked strong storms such as Hurricane Sandy to climate change. They all swallowed the IPCC report whole, providing no time to "top scientists," such as Dr. Don J. Easterbrook, who question the "settled science" of climate change.

CO2 spikes in the atmosphere 400-800 years AFTER the warming. Better chance of an ice-age than a warming. And, you’re really going to wish it was warming. Freezing is insurmountable!

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls our climates.

3. The earth is a rock.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

said, "3. The earth is a rock"

Actually the earth is a large molten ball of goo with a paper thin crust relative to its size

That's the elephant in the parlor almost no one, especially the IPCC, will admit seeing. Atmospheric CO2 does NOT cause global warming! Anyone who follows the facts of Earth's climate history knows it. This entire "global warming/climate change" myth a.k.a. environmental religion is based on a scientific falshood. The silence of the authentic scientific community on this point is absolutely disgraceful.

Periodically human cultures go completely off the rails. In the early 1800s Charles Mackay wrote a book titled "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds." The nutty crowd psychologies he described back then -- financial bubbles, belief in crazy prophecies etc. -- are just as dangerous now as they were then. We're experiencing one right now. The Sheeple are following Al Gore, the criminally psychotic prophet of global warming doom and disaster, into a new Dark Age.

The goo part of which, at least one theory holds, is due to an on going nuclear reaction. Shhh!!! Don't tell any liberals about that one.

If the networks don't push the dem line, they'll get shut out. Dems aren't just bullies about the shutdown - they're bullies about everything...

“The silence of the authentic scientific community on this point is absolutely disgraceful.”

Actually, there are many scientists speaking out against the “man-caused global warming” hoax.

And, unlike the signers of the various pieces of propaganda promoting the hoax, they are REAL scientists.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scientists_opposing_the_mainstream_scientific_assessment_of_global_warming for starters. There are other articles out there.

Yes, yes...I follow this subject far better than you probably do. Do you see what a tremendous impact your Wiki scientists are having? None.

We're seeing the scientific method turned upside-down. One of the major problems with the "real" scientists is that one way or another they're beholden to the Federal Behemoth for funding or tenure-track retirement security. "Science" in service to the government Lysenko-style is the real danger.

The media pay no attention to the people on your list. Maybe if some had spoken up sooner -- and very loudly -- this perversion of reality could have been avoided. But we now live in a CYA society that cowers in fear before the phonies of the IPCC and their tyrannical methods of thought intimidation.

You will receive no argument FRom me on that account!

That the REAL SCIENTISTS who dispute the veracity of the “Chicken Little scientists” are having little to no impact is a function of, as you say, money. It is more profitable right now to be a supporter than a denier.

HST, all is not lost: these “Global Warming or Climate Change” idiots are not gaining ground, and the IPCC report is clearly bogus. It is a dying, but nonetheless, real, threat to our society.

Playing with socialists is fun because they are like children in their knowledge on how the world works.

Right now I am telling a socialists that we all consume hydrocarbons every single day. Humans even produce hydrocarbons in breast milk to feed to their babies. You can imagine how that will go over.

Maybe I could ask you. i have debated this a few times and got no place with it.

If the earth really was just a rock and not a molten ball of goo wouldn't the center of the earth be exceptionally cold nearly as cold as space and the heat transfer would make the surface unlivable?

Part of the reason the earth still has a molten center has to do with its thermal mass. There’s a LOT of rock there, and it hasn’t cooled to the core yet because there is so much mass. Also - if you look at my original post - some theorize that the center of the earth is molten partly because of nuclear energy being released (as I understand it - I’m not that strong on that theory).

I understand all that.
sorry.

I had a debate on how much the core of the earth warms the earth. I believe it is a lot more then what most scientists are give it credit for.

I didn’t get that from your first post. I’ve often wondered myself how much the core of the earth warms the crust, but have no answers at all. It’s a good question.
