This guy works part time at a daycare center and he can afford $175 a month? I doubt it.

Isn’t it fascinating how people are willing to look like fools defending obama. =

I know some nurses who worship obama and praised obamacare. I don’t speak to them anymore. I got tired of being called a dummy. But I’d sure like to see their faces when they see their new premiums. hee hee

Where in the H do folks in DC think that people at home are going to come up with all of this money for health insurance? Most folks live from pay check to pay check.

Everything I’ve read says all the IRS can do is keep your refund. This will be another blow to America. More and more people will claim more dependents so they won’t have refunds coming. That means the government will have a lot less money coming in every quarter. It was probably all planed this way. Another bomb to destroy the country.

I’ve read today that people have to pay the first premium when they register. Most people don’t have insurance because they don’t have money for the first premium.

And I’ve read that subsidies come in the form of tax rebates. This is probably why we’re not hearing the success stories of all the “millions” the feds say signed up.

It’s 26. And their parents are going to have to pay premiums that are priced accordingly. A 25 years old kid living in the basement is not a good credit risk. The premiums will be high. And, it says they can be on their parent’s insurance. But it doesn’t say how much the premium will be. Nor does it address what if the parents’ employer drops their insurance.

Enjoy your new pregnancy benefits, Chad. Don’t forget your free abortion, too.

And Chad gets free condoms, too. Or do they only give them out to Flukes?

I think in the bill it explains completely that IRS will NOT take money out of your bank account. With this in mind I would have to answer....uh...yes they will.

Zerocare makes Zerocare cheaper by making every company charge more before going out
of Business. So stand alone Zerocare will be the cheapest because it will be the only.

Next comes the death panels to further decrease usage so money can be spent for more votes.

That has been an issue with me all along. Yeah, thanks for telling me you will pay me back some AT THE END OF THE YEAR! Most people are doing good to have enough gas to get back forth to work. If they have it.

Henderson might also want to find out what his annual deductible is. I keep hearing the $5000 figure. If that is the case, if Henderson is healthy, he is never going to meet his deductible and has now lost roughly $2000/year of his disposable income.

As noted elsewhere, they don’t mention the deductible/out-of-pocket cap for the plan he’s on. Since he is likely aiming to be on the smallest-premium plan, the deductible is probably more than $8000 a year, which for all intents and purposes means that he’ll never hit the annual cap unless he’s really sick or injured, and will never actually touch his insurance. He’ll pay for his yearly checkups and sick-visits out-of-pocket (at no-doubt-inflated rates), meaning a total expense of probably close to $3000 a year. On a part-time daycare worker paycheck.

Our ‘affordable care’ would cost us $1,659 monthly if we signed up, no decuctbles, no nothing and probably no doctor if this crap continues.

I’m telling her that she can sign up anytime, i.e., if her clinic shuts down. Does that sound like good advice?

No, it isn't, because she can sign up for an exchange plan (subsidized) only during Open Enrollment Periods.

The current OEP is now through March and, starting in 2014, will be October through December. But to get coverage starting Jan. 1st, you have to have enrolled by December 15th in most states.

If your state has Expanded Medicaid there is a good chance she would qualify for that.

Most "free" clinics are getting large grants; I know ours did. They will be trying to persuade people to enroll through the exchanges but will be treating them in the meantime.

It’s catastrophic insurance. That’s it. It has nothing to do with routine health care at all.

Henderson might also want to find out what his annual deductible is. I keep hearing the $5000 figure.

The "silver" plan I'm looking into has a deductible of $1,500 individual / $3,000 family.

The counterpart gold plan is half of that, $750 individual / $1,500 family.

Henderson's plan may be bronze level which actually is $5,000 individual / $10,000 family and the 40% coinsurance would really kill you if the death panels don't. Silver is a much better value.
