And now it's global COOLING! Return of Arctic ice cap as it grows by 29% in a year!
Daily Mail ^ | 10/02/13 | David Rose

Posted on 10/02/2013 4:06:53 PM PDT by oxcart

A chilly Arctic summer has left 533,000 more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year – an increase of 29 per cent.

The rebound from 2012’s record low comes six years after the BBC reported that global warming would leave the Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013.

Instead, days before the annual autumn re-freeze is due to begin, an unbroken ice sheet more than half the size of Europe already stretches from the Canadian islands to Russia’s northern shores.

A nice compilation of articles that make the greenies look like the fools they are.

Actually, This is one I might agree on. When was the last time we had a major ice age? If that happens...and we are due...

Well...that's true. Old growth ice is what you want....if you know anything about sea ice. Young ice melts very easily. The good news about the growth this year is this will be 2 year ice next summer and will be harder to melt.

What the AGW crowd doesn't want people to know is that the majority of the melt in the arctic hasn't been the result of higher temps, but of a change in the currents. That has pushed the ice pack south and into warmer temps...thus making the pack harder to melt. These will change and those predicting an ice free summer will still be looking for it 50 years from now....'cause it ain't gonna happen.

Citizen, let me explain.

The earth is warming because of man and his activities. This is settled science.

Just because there are inconvenient facts like the photos shown in this article and the fact that there has been NO WARMING for 15 years mean nothing. Who are you going to believe, a million scientists or your own eyes and common sense?

It’s a rebound from a record low year so the percentage increase is deceptive. It’s still running below the average.

Global environment changes, like ice ages, happen over the course of many, many human lifetimes. It’s absurd to think you or I will detect significant global changes, aside from normal changes related to the seasons, in our relatively short timelines.

Did the sea levels fall? Would make sense if the opposite is claimed, the sea levels will rise when the ice recedes.

This just in !! ~~~~~~~~ WE went too far with saving the Earth. We went overboard and now have global cooling. Does that mean we have to burn more fossil fuel and send more CO2 into the atmosphere? Only more CO2 will save the Earth.
Meanwhile, while we ponder this we need more grant money.

Does this mean it's going to snow in Tampa this winter? If the climatologists finally got it right I should buy up and resell snow blowers down here. I could make a killing!

Usually global temps average out. On the opposite end of the globe the Antarctic sea ice hit 35-year record high last Saturday. People that mention temps in one area of the globe as an example of warming are stupid. The average global temp is unchanged for over a decade in a half. Actually cooling is happening.

It gets even better. 20 yachts full of greenies tried to sail the Northwest Passage and they’re all trapped by the ice. Only way out is if Canada takes pity on them and sends an icebreaker. I say, make ‘em winter over.

Yes but it ain’t gone like it was supposed to be. BBC used “settled science” to make their prediction.

So we need to crank up the refineries, SUV’s and wood burning stoves to combat this emerging menace!

Think a winter in the Canadian Arctic would give them second thoughts about this warming crap? :-))
