Our 4th Quarter FReepathon is underway, but very sadly, not with Jim at the helm right now, because he is in Fresno's VA Hospital awaiting a rescheduling of his surgery to remove his remaining leg, that's causing him extraordinary pain and actually starting to poison his otherwise fairly healthy body, and I only say "fairly healthy" because of the strain this leg has put on his body and also because of his diabetes. Jim is otherwise one healthy, very strong dude!
If you don't know, his surgery had to be delayed yesterday because his heart beat was too fast, so his very knowledgeable, very caring and very cautious doctors determined that his magnesium level was too low and he was too dehydrated.
As I'm writing this, the last word Just Amy, I and All received from Jim last night read: Thank you all very much! Now in my room in ICU. We’re still hoping for surgery tomorrow. Praying for the very best. God bless you all.
Thank you all so much for your loving prayers and please continue to pray for Jim and his beautiful wife Sheila and sons Chris and John, all of whom must be going through so much stress and heart ache in their own right, along with Jim and his own pain and anxiety.
I'll likely be very disjointed because words aren't coming easily to me, so please bear with me. I love Jim Robinson and I love his family. I can tell by your prayers and your outpouring of love that y'all love him, too. I know, make that we know, that our good Lord is standing with Jim and his doctors and that his surgery will be a complete success. It's the waiting... We and Jim, must now have the patience of Job. If Jim's surgery is today, wonderful! If not, we will continue to pray. God is the greatest physician.
I think, it sometimes takes a sad event, to give us a knock in the head to make us realize how much we need and cherish Jim, Free Republic and each other. We not only pray together and for each other and our families, but we also fight the Marxist _resident, his ungodly policies, and his disgraceful un-American demonic-rats, but we also stand together in our fight for freedom, liberty, God, and Constitution, and last night our patriots in the GOP House stood together to stand for us, Constitution, freedom, liberty and God. Sweet Victory!
As you all probably know, during every FReepathon, we always conduct a New Monthly Donor Campaign, because reliable Monthly Donations are an ideal way to support Free Republic. It's a labor of love for those of us on Jim's FReepathon Team, but 2 long months is a very long time and it takes a toll on Jim and everyone, so this time in particular, please help us get this one completed in record time.

P.S. I heard from Jim a little earlier and his heart rate is up (a little)again this morning. He's hoping and praying his doctors can determine the cause, and we are too.
