I don’t know. They shut up Cruz because (I thought) they were afraid of the govt shutdown. Now, they did it anyway, with a poutpory of demands that aren’t easy to be formulated for the public. Before, with Cruz, it was “repeal or shut down,” which could result in (after talks and compromise) delay. Now, “delay, budget talk, etc, etc, or shut down,” which is gonna be difficult for winning the PR war.
