Cook PVI R+28.

Impossible to elect a Dim in this district unless the Republican is caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

He’s an arrogant ass ! Back when he was first entering politics on a national level he (and his crew) filmed a commercial — he needed 2 children to walk up the school steps holding his hand.

Those 2 children were my children. Believeme, his arrogance has no limit !

He’s an arrogant ass ! When he first entered national politics he and his crew filmed a “do-gooder” political ad.

Two children, walking up the steps of a elementary school holding his hands (as if he’s their father).

Those 2 children were my children. Believe me, his arrogance has no bounds, no personality. He should be thrown out years ago.

20 That rush of wind down I-65 you just felt was Parker Griffith moving to Birmingham.

Was that the Democrat Episcopagan from Huntsville who switched to the GOP after he was elected and then lost his next election?

Thankfully, the AL-6 does not include 72% black Birmingham.

Bingo. I like your term - I use “political opportunist.” Mo Brooks has beaten him soundly ... twice now.

“But he has compromised (or “sold out,” as some would say) on a few issues”

Actually, people around here do not say “sell out”

The word used is TRAITOR.

There are a lot of RINOs in the South, and that should not be. Bachus wasn’t really one to begin with, but he “grew” in office. Lots of Southern RINOs in the Senate, too. I hope the winds are changing.

“He’s smart, understands economics, and was good once upon a time....at one point, but then went domestic......good to see him go.”

Washington DC has a way of doing that to many people. But for some reason, our people seem to fall prey to the “go along, get along” mentality of DC.

Totally correct...it’s a bubble - every time I go there, I marvel at how clueless the entire city is to the feelings and thought process of the rest of the country.

Then again, all the money and power is there....they can live good and remain clueless. They do it every day.
