POTISKUM, NIGERIA Suspected Islamic extremists attacked an agricultural college in the dead of night, gunning down dozens of students as they slept in dormitories and torching classrooms, the school's provost said, reporting the latest violence in northeastern Nigeria's ongoing Islamic uprising.
As many as 50 students may have been killed in the assault that began at about 1 a.m. Sunday in rural Gujba, Provost Molima Idi Mato of Yobe State College of Agriculture, told The Associated Press.
"They attacked our students while they were sleeping in their hostels, they opened fire at them," he said.

They need to be wiped out. Nigeria should do what needs to be done.
Islam is a war plan.
Islam was conceived by the blade, and endures by the blade.
Fanatics of any kind do not need a “logical explanation” to kill and torture. It comes with their psychopathic philosophy and attendent mentality.
You cannot reason with them, you cannot argue with them, you cannot appease or please them until you surrender.
I have a “logical” approach to this problem. Kill them all, wipe out their support villages and towns, and exile their surviving family members.
A dead terrorist is a good terrorist and one you don’t have to fear in the future, nor try to have a “dialogue” with about your own fate.
There is no difference between an Islamic fanatic and a Nazi fanatic or a communist fanatic. They all use/used the same methods of torture and mass killings.
The only way you can get rid of a plague is to wipe it out completely and immunize the decent people against it through read knowledge and decent self-defense arms training.
These people are like dogs with Rabies. What do you do with a dog with Rabies?
You send them directly to Allah without passing Go and NOT collecting 200 Dollars - straight to meet their Maker.
There can be no sympathy or negotiation with these animals.
The first step required here is to ACKNOLEDGE that Islam is not a religion of Peace and that there should be a War on terror. The more we blur our purpose, the more these heinous crimes will occur.
Islam is a death worshiping cult and it is time to start demanding that each Islamic community around the world, openly condemn these attacks and work towards stopping them altogether.
They can't hide in their Mosques. In their own native lands, they kill each other in each other’s mosques. What other people do this?
