Too bad we didn't send Jimmy along with it!
To: Kaslin
Very touching. I only wish he could have delivered it in person.

Carter's Message to Space Aliens Finally Exits Our Solar SystemIf only Carter could have exited with it.

A couple caveman style pictures of humans and animals would have been nice.

Headline of the day about a momentous achievement. I do hope the aliens find the taste of Democrats more to their liking.
Oh and Carter is a terrible, little, Jew-hating man. It would be nice if the President after Obama is as great an improvement as Reagan was to Carter, but Reagan was one of a kind.

How appropriate for peanut boy to be standing to Fidel's left, matching their political persuasion.

Carter's Message to Space Aliens Finally Exits Our Solar SystemSo, how long before it reaches the nearest star, about a million years, maybe?

Yeah. The biggest sad sack--the guy with the world's worst mojo--sends a message to space aliens.
I just don't like the ring of it. It can't end well.

Voyager 1 is the first manmade item to go interstellar That is, traveling beyond our Solar System.Voyager 1s odometer now reads in excess of 11,647,362,655 miles (125.3 AU).Traveling at a speed exceeding 38,000 miles per hour (3.6 AU per year) for the past 36 years. And it still works. An amazing accomplishment!

Captain Kirk saved the galaxy (again) from Voyager SIX in ST:TMP; Voyager 1 was the unfortunate target of Klingon target practice in an equally-bad sequel in the cinematic series ...

Ok, so going 38,000 MPH for 36 years took it almost 12 billion miles.
Now compare those numbers to the deficit the rats have put us in. We're screwed.
