I moved to the New Market area to escape the left lurching eleventh congressional district in North Carolina.

Now it has a republican, Meadows in the seat. Republican legislature and governor. Maybe I should have stayed there, nah, A Sheville is still there. Too many RINO chesters and Humbert types run the republican party in WNC. Nasty place, gross !!!!

Fight the loons to the last breath we have.

Right turns, tight lines

I miss New Market. I remember it when it was a quiet little town, with diagonal street parking. Had a great little cafe, with wood floors. Had only one matronly aproned waitress named “Butch,” who took your order with a smoldering Marlborough between her lips. No liquor, beer, or wine by the drink or in restaurants in those days. Some counties were completely “dry.” Soda pop, milk, water, coffee, or tea was all. Different times. Very different state. Very different.
