A sailor at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay was arrested by Kingsland police after he allegedly took a 13-year-old girl on base and sexually molested her in his room in a barracks.
Aaron Flores, a 25-year-old petty officer 3rd class, was arrested after investigators interviewed the girl and Flores Thursday, Kingsland police said Monday in a prepared statement.
Flores is a machinist mate aboard the USS Rhode Island, Navy officials said.
The investigation began after the mother of the girl's mother alleged to Kingsland police that her daughter had been molested by a sailor on base.
The girl is not identified because she is a minor and the alleged victim of a sexual assault.
Investigators said Flores contacted the victim on the Internet and picked her up at her home in Kingsland about 2 a.m. Thursday.
Flores allegedly concealed the victim under a blanket in his vehicle to sneak her past guards at the high-security nuclear submarine base.
Investigators with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at Kings Bay and a forensic interview specialist with the St. Marys Police Department assisted in the investigation, police said.
Flores was arrested without incident after questioning and was charged with aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sodomy. Each charge is a felony, police said.
Flores is being held at the Camden County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
Scott Bassett, a public affairs officer at Kings Bay, said base officials don't tolerate criminal behavior by sailors. "This allegation is extremely serious to us in the Navy," he said.

The girl's a child .. yes ... but as best as she could know ... she was willing and complicit.
I haven't read the entire article, so I don't know how the guy came to be charged ... but unless some interference occured ... I'm wondering if the girld wouldn't have gone home with some memories and that might be the end of it.

IIRC, “Flores” IS a Hispanic name.
In Hispanic cultures, sex with very young females is accepted as normal.
Logic 101 tells us:
1. Flores is Hispanic.
2. Hispanic culture accepts sex with 13 year old girls.
Therefore: Flores was just doing what his culture taught him was acceptable.
Thus, the question arises: “Why is the Navy not “embracing Diversity”?
After all, “All cultures are equal.”
The hypocricy is strong in this case.
Conclusion: The above illustrates the pitfalls of attempting to function in a “multiculti” society. No other nation survived such an attempt.
No child has the maturity to consent to sex with an adult.
Only in a sick little pervert world is a thirteen year old “complicit” in late night sexual escapades with a twenty five year old at a military barracks.

Jesus is referred to in scripture as 'the second Adam', and I believe Adam and Eve were created.
I believe they were created to be adult, child bearers and based on the age(s) of Jesus history ... I believe Adam and Eve were in what we would consider the early 30's ... thus ... a man doesn't BEGIN to mature until he's around ... 33.
My experience in life seems to bear that out, but it's only a theory at this point.
