Thank goodness the earthquake machine on the intl. space station hasn't fallen to the Sequester. Ya never know when we might need that thing. I love it when they turn on the microwave. They run around like ants as their skin peels off.

They aren't still trying to keep that secret are they?

Thanks! Just got back inside and found this - kind of hard to believe! lol

Earthchange event: The 7.7 magnitude oblique-strike-slip earthquake was so powerful, it raised new land out of the Arabian sea.

They're saying 46 confirmed deaths now. I expected it to be a bad one alright. We're lucky it wasn't in the thousands.

Yeah 7.7 does not seem to be that powerful...

I just noticed this....Look at where they placed a few portable array devices in norther canada and alaska.

That is in line with my noticing the area that interacts with the mid atlantic ridge...interesting.

Well they said it was shallow, can't get too much more shallow than pushing land up from beneath the sea...........Just saying.

That's 700 miles from New Delhi. Karachi is 100 or less away.

Yep, there is something going on up north alright. I remember news about excessive and strange SO2 emissions in Eagle, Alaska, not long ago.

The bad news for Karachi is that most of the construction is un-reinforced mud brick.

The good news is that about half the population (of 11-12 million) lives in cardboard boxes flexible enough to recover from the quakes. [only partially sarcastic]
