Ted Cruz has a strong, patriotic father, who experienced torture in Cuba b/4 finally reaching the USA. He spoke so eloquetly not too long ago on the subject. Like father, like son.

The hard core socialist/marxist/commuist scum that represent us in Illinois totals up to nothing more than scum. Thomas Sowell, who I respect immensely, is one of his detractors. It is discouraging to see Sowell belittle this endeavor to stop CommieCare. He concedes that it needs to be done, but that it is a losing battle in the end. But he then doesn't offer any other immediate solution.

When Cruz was in high school, he and some friends formed a club. They memorized the Constitution and went around the state making speeches about the Constitution.

He is for real. That is why he is so unpopular with politicians.
